I have seen things I cant un-see
I have done things I can't un-do
The images rooted like a tree
My actions stick like goo
I long to be free
To dream in peace
Without fear of sights
Or questions of actions
To soar across the sky again
To laugh and sing with friends
To go on adventures
To find treasures and live stories
This mind so filled with trash
These thoughts so lost in blood
My sleep is sold to fear
And rest is slaved to sin
Lord clean my mind and make it whole
Transform my thoughts and dreams
At least I ask for peace
At most I ask for youthful escapades
I miss the stories of Peter Pan
Instead of lines of horror
I long to be Huck Finn
Instead of Ted Bundy
May I be a serial dreamer
Instead of serial killer
May I be a Child of God
Not an "Adult" of the World
