(Josh's POV)

I ripped off a part of my sleeve and wrapped it around my wounded arm. My body was still in immense pain.I sat on a chair, trying to recover my energy.

I'm on the brink of insanity, everyone I brought along with me to this hellhole is either missing or dead.. I gasp as I begin to remember, I teared up at the memory of my friends.

~Flashback - 3 weeks ago~

"Here.. Buy yourself some food on your way back" My dad handed me money, he's a lawyer, always logical, he was someone I looked up to, I wanted to be like him.

"Thanks Dad, I'll be sure to buy some for you guys aswell!" I opened the front door.

"See ya, I'll be back soon!" I waved at dad, who smiled back. We met at the abandoned mansion, we were thrill seekers, we were bored. Originally this was supposed to be the three of us, Me, Ian and Aaron but we also invited Daniel, Lilly, Flynn and Annie, who somehow already found the way in!

"Here! Through the chimney!" Annie yelled from the top of the mansion.

"The what..?" Daniel furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"H-How did you even get up there and w-when?" Aaron cupped his mouth so Annie would hear him.

Flynn began climbing the ladder that Annie used to get up there and the others followed suit, I saw every single one of them disappear into the chimney. I facepalmed and tried the front door, it opened with ease, I saw every single one of them giving me a blank stare but Annie laughed it off.

Ian took out a spray can from his pocket that he secretly brought over and began spraying on the wall.

"Ian.. Could you not..?" I felt irritated, I just don't know why.

"Geez, Josh live a little, you sound like your father now." Ian chuckled. As much as I hate to admit it, He was right, I.. really admire my father.

Suddenly I heard a scream coming from the kitchen, It was Annie. Ian dropped his spray can and bolted towards the kitchen. Everyone else followed him to the kitchen but what we found wasn't Annie nor Ian.Instead, there stood a figure with a black cloak.

"Reckless...teenagers... Irresponsible... You.. You were meant to die." The figure muttered with a weak voice, filled with insanity. It turned around, revealing a bloody axe.

I heard footsteps behind me, "RUN JOSH!", I heard my friends yell, But my body protested, I couldn't move, I was frozen. It raised its hands, the axe raising along, he was ready to strike.

...what the hell, Josh.. Move! MOVE GODDAMNIT.

I forced myself to move, only to trip across the wooden floor. The axe striked the wall behind where I stood. Trembling with fear, I crawl backwards until I reach a wall.

The figure clicked its tongue."You were meant to die." He said as he pulled a lever that, with a clang, opened the floor beneath us like a trapdoor, I heard all of my friends scream as I fell into the nothingness below.
