The Vampire and the Painter

Ch 4 - The Tour

Jasper ran down the halls, holding the Painter's hand as he ran. Encre did his best to keep up, but was falling slightly behind. "C-Could we run a little, slower..? Please..?" Encre asked, already exhausted. "Fiine!" Jasper said as he slowed down the pace to a walk. "Phew..." Encre caught his breath as Jasper began to point out some of the rooms. "And this room, right here..." he stopped and pointed to a room at their left. "..Is my room! Cmon, ill show you it!" "Alri-" Encre was interrupted from Jasper grabbing his hand and running inside his room. "-Whoa!" Encre shouted a bit, trying not to trip over his own feet as he entered the room. It was surprisingly big for such a small person.
The first thing Encre noticed was a huge window, covered by long, black drapes, to keep the sunlight from entering his room. The next thing he noticed was his bed. His bed was, again, surprisingly very big for such a small person. Surrounding the bed were black bed curtains. The rest of the furniture was comfortably placed to fit in his room.
"Cool right?" The young lord asked, looking up at Encre. "Mmhm..!" Encre simply nodded. Although, to him, the room needed more color. But hey, he's an artist. He basically screams color. "Cmon, ill show you the next room!" Jasper said as he grabbed Encre's hand and dashed to the next room. //🎵Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh XD (IT WILL FOREVER BE CHRISTMAS IN MY HEART-)//

"This next room," Jasper introduced as he walked towards the door, "Is my dad's room!" he then turned the knob and opened the door. This room was a bit bigger than Young Jasper's room, and somewhat the same as his, but, the rest of his thoughts were interrupted by Jasper. "This is where you'll be staying from now on, so get used to it!"

Say what now??

Encre blushed hard as his eyes widened. He was going to stay with Fallacy?? "Wh-What?" He almost shouted. Jasper chuckled a bit at his shock. "But where was I staying before then?" Encre asked as he looked down at him.
"You were staying in Suave's room! But that was only temporary."
"Suave..?"
"Yup, he's a butler here!"
He felt guilty for staying in his bed.. The poor butler probably got almost zero sleep.. All he could wonder is, where did Suave sleep the whole night? He couldnt possibly have slept on the floor.. So where did he go?

Fallacy was soon walking down the hallway towards them. "Ah, your awake." The sound of his voice made the painter jump, and immediately turn to the sound. As soon as he laid eyes on him, he blushed harder than he did last night. Now that he saw him more clearly, he could see how handsome he really looked... "I didnt mean to frighten you in any way." Fallacy spoke. "I only meant to check on you." He moved towards the two and stared down at Encre.
"I was just showing him around the place!" Jasper said as he looked up at his father. "Good. He's going to need to learn his way around here since he is going to stay.."

Stay?! None of this made sense to Encre... Why was he so important? He is just a painter. That's all. There was nothing special about him, was there? And why does he have to sleep with Fallacy? He was almost certain that there were extra rooms around here, the castle was huge.. There are so many questions to be answered...

//Phew, another chapter done... I tried to make this one a bit longer than Chapter 3, hopefully it was long enough.. But, anyway, ive gotten some requests to do more of the ErrorInk story, "I'm Here" , So, I'll start to work on that. But for now, enjoy this chapter, and stay tuned for future stories!
