Night's at the Café

Chapter 3

Oliver was working on some paperwork to keep his mind of the fact that to night he will be taking Toby of for a date. That morning when he woke up he had a smile on his face and it stayed there all day.

"So where are you taking your boy?" Tanner asked his brother when he walked into their home office. "I'm not telling you." Oliver said. "Why not?" Tanner asked. "I don't want you to follow us." Oliver told him. "I wouldn't do that." Tanner said. Oliver looked over at his brother. "Okay I would do that." Tanner said as he took a sit in front of Oliver desk.

"Does Toby know where your taking him?" Tanner asked. "Nope I told him to dress nice." Oliver told him. "How many places are you taking him." Tanner asked. "Two." Oliver said and turn to back to his work.

" Your not going to tell me anything?" Tanner asked. "No I'm not." Oliver said. "Be like that. I'll find out on my own." Tanner said and walked out the door. Oliver laugh at his brother.

Toby was running around his room looking for something to wear. Gale sat on Toby bed watching him. Not helping him on bit. "How does this shirt look?" Toby asked as he held up a light blue shirt. "It looks okay." Gale said. Toby throw the shirt in the pile of other shirts.

Toby grabbed a black button up shirt. "How about this shirt?" Toby asked as he turn to Gale. "That shirt works, now wear your nice dress pants." Gale told him. Toby ran to look for his pants. Gale walked to pick a pair of dress shoes and socks. Toby came from his bathroom after showering and dress.

Gale handed his brother the sock and shoes. "Thanks for the help Gale." Toby said as he hugged his brother. "Any time. I know you would do the same for me." Gale said. "I have done the same for you many times." Toby said as he push his Gale playfully. They both head down to the living room to watch TV and wait.

Oliver walked out of his room dress to the nine. "Damn brother don't you look good." Tanner said when he saw his brother. "I hope Toby thinks the same." Oliver said as he grabbed hid phone, wallet and keys. "What time should you be home?" Tanner asked. "I'm not sure. So don't wait up for me." Oliver said as he walked out the door.

Oliver made it to Toby's in no time. He sat in car for a few moments. After having a small talk to himself he got out of his car and head to the door. Ranging the door bell. He stood there for a moment. The door open, Gale was the one to open the door. "Toby your date is here." Gale said.

Moments later Toby appear. Oliver stood there looking at Toby. "You look nice." Oliver said. Even though there are no word to describe on how Toby looks to night. "You look nice to." Toby said with a smile on his face.

"What time will you have my brother home?" Gale asked. "I'm not sure, but should be home by midnight if not sooner." Oliver told him. "I'm trusting you with him. I find out you didn't something to him I will hurt you." Gale told Oliver. "I won't" Oliver said.

"I'm holding you to it." Gale said to Oliver. "Have fun tonight." Gale said to his brother. Gale hugged his brother and send Oliver a look of I'm watching you. Gale stood by the door and watch as his brother and Oliver got in Oliver car and drove off. Gale close and locked and made his way to the living room.

Once they where far from Toby house, Toby turn to Oliver. "I'm sorry about Gale." Toby said before turn back around. "He's just doing what any good older brother would do. I done it a time or two with Tanner." Oliver said.

Toby watch as trees went by. Soon enough Toby saw they where at a park. Toby turn and looked at Oliver. Oliver looked over at Toby with a smile. Oliver got out of the car and walked around and open the door for Toby.

Once Toby was out Oliver walked to the back of the car and open the trunk. He pulled out a basket and blanket. Oliver walked back to Toby and grabbed his hand. After they made it to the spot. Oliver let go of Toby hand. Which fill empty now.

Oliver set ever thing up and pulled Toby down to him. Toby end up falling on Oliver. They both laugh. Toby got off Oliver. Oliver handed Toby food. "I didn't know what you like so I went with sandwiches, salads, fruits, juices and water. I also have cookies and two pieces of chocolate cake." Oliver said.

"I love food so you did good." Toby said. They talked about anything. Mostly what Toby plans to do after high school. Toby not for sure what he wants to do yet. He has a few ideals but nothing for sure.

After eating they lay there looking up at the sky that's full of stars. "I haven't seen so many stars before." Toby said. "Then you would love my backyard. You can lay there not have to worry about tress and people." Oliver said. "That does sound nice." Toby said.

They lay there until Oliver phone. Oliver picked up and seen it was his brother. "Tanner I told you I wasn't going to tell you anything." Oliver said as he looked over at Toby with a smile. "I'm not calling about that. You need to come home like now." Tanner said before hanging up.

"I'm need at home." Oliver said. Toby helped Oliver pick up things.
