Jake and I went to see a movie, but it was an action movie so there would not be any opportunities to "get romantic." We sit near the middle of the large theater, but not very many people come to this movie. Jake sets his hand on the arm rest palm up; I'm guessing so I'll hold his hand. I slide my hand into his, and I lay my head on his shoulder. He sweetly offers me popcorn and the drink, but I decline.
In the middle of the movie, we both decide it is boring, so I shove popcorn down his shirt. I make sure to smash the pieces, so they're harder to get out. He then gets ice out of the cup and puts it in my shirt. I grab the popcorn bowl and run up to the top row of the theater. He looks at me curiously, but before he could move I threw popcorn at him. We both laugh in unison, and the other couple that was in there quickly gets up and walks out. I throw more popcorn at him, and he throws the entire cup full of soda at me. It splashes all over my clothes and hair, but I can only laugh. I throw the entire bucket of popcorn at him as the lights come on.
"Excuse me," a guy with a manager name tag says as he enters the room. I look at him guiltily.
"Yes, sir," Jake says swiftly.
"I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask you ton leave."
"Why is that?" Jake asks.
"You are being disrespectful."
"I paid my money for the movie, and I paid for the popcorn and drink."
"Come on," I say walking down to Jake and taking him by the arm. He smiles down at me as we walk out of the movie theater.
"You know that was fun," he said as we walk down the street.
"No, that was amazing," I smile big.
"You know the producer is going to kill us right?" he points out.
"Yeah, but so far this will be the most memorable date because it's the first time I've been 'excused' from a movie," I giggle. He laughs as he turns to me and throws me over his shoulder.
"What are you doing?" I ask him as I'm draped over his shoulder.
"You're feet have to be tired of carrying around so much beautiful awesomeness," he says. All I can do is shake my head at him even though he can't see it.
