I walked into my shared bedroom with Dan, giving him a warm kiss while he watched. tv. "How's our young one doing?" he asked, looking at Lee hanging by the side of my hip.
"Daddy!" she shouted, feeling dans cheek. He chuckled at her touch. "Growing up I see" he said, playing with her hand. Ever since Lee came in the world, Dan has became very attached to her. Seeing them play together makes me happy all the while. I handed him my girl and said "I've got to go to your father Dan. Something about Monacans I think. Do you think you can look after Lee while I'm gone? I'll only be a couple of hours, hopefully..."
He stared me in the eye."Sure, just be careful!" he replied, giving me a hug. I walked out, lace up ankle heel boots clapping along the floor. I walked up to the double oak doors with my black leggings with studs and a leather jacket with nothing underneath half zipped. It was decorated with studs on the shoulders and down the sides. I pulled my hair band out, curled blonde, brown hair flowing down my back. I was wearing no make up, but I looked like I was. I was becoming more beautiful everyday, my daughter similarly the same. She made me proud to be me.
I pushed the doors and walked up to the king. "Hello Katherine. Congrats on your daughter!"
"Thank you... I think..." I replied.
"Know we are offering you a one time offer. We would like you to have your own title due to your power and strength"
"I'm listening..."
"Well we are thinking you would be Huntress, High guardian of the royals"
I smiled at the suggestion.
"Yes!!!! I mean, I would love too" I replied.
"Great. Now as your extensive training. You will kill anyone that has caused you pain. But it must be for a considerable reason"
I thought long and hard, scratching my head a few times until a name popped in my head. "Eugene!"
"Ok. I know him well enough. You will go" he said. Sending me off. I was determined to finish what I started...
