shielding me from the dangers that surrounded us.
I held onto your hand, I felt warm,
despite the cold that surrounded us, as well as safe,
knowing that you would save me if I fell.
The longer I remain in you arms,
the more I knew how strong your love for me was.
Despite the silence, I knew you loved me, my knight,
For you rested your head on mine.
You chuckled to yourself,
Thinking of me and you.
I never stopped smiling,
knowing that, no matter what we faced nor will ever face,
I merely have to look to my side,

smiling back,
