Chapter Twelve | Raven

Raven was awoken by a cold chill running through the room, making her wake up due to the wind making the room too cold. She looked around the room and yawned, stretching her arms above her head. When she finally had rubbed all the sleep away from her eyes, she came to the realization that Gabriel was gone. She sat up straight and furrowed her brows in confusion, trying to catch her thoughts together. Her eyes drifted to the door, noting it wasn't closed all the way, a small gap causing the cold wind to slip inside. Raven took a deep breath in and stood up, trying to calm herself. What made her the most uneasy was that she didn't know what happened or where Gabriel was. She assumed he wasn't taken considering she was still there, so that left the option of Gabriel leaving without telling her. Raven looked around for any notes that Gabriel could've perhaps left, but alas, there was no sign of anything remotely related to him. Raven walked outside of the house, closing the door behind her and took in the cold midnight sky and decided to make her way home to tell her father about her presence, although she was quite sure he didn't give a crap. Not much later she arrived at the castle, the state of it making her come to a halt. The gates were thrown wide open and every possible window was shattered, pieces of glass scattered across the grounds. Raven swallowed and opened the castle doors, where she was met with demons circled around a long white haired demon; Dracul. "What the hell happened here?" Raven exclaimed, making her way over to the group with a fast pace. A man made his way in front of Raven, making her almost bump into him. "There was an attack. Dracul got injured." Kali explained, grabbing her arm with a firm grip and leading her upstairs. "Kali, what are you doing? I want to-" Raven tried to speak but Kali interrupted her, "Trust me Raven, your father is in no mood right now. I'd suggest laying low for a bit." He continued taking Raven to her room and let her go, leaving Raven alone.
