Chapter 2

Hope you enjoyed chapter one.  Sorry for how short it was, but ya know, stuff happens.  So without further a do, this is chapter two. (That rhymed by the way)

During the ride all I could think about were the three words my father said to honor, bravery, courage.  I know that they are all just words, but they mean something when I think about them.  Its weird.

Apparently while I was in my little trance my friend Kevin was telling me a story or something.  He found out I wasn’t listening and punched me in the arm.  I nearly fell out of the train so when I gathered myself again I pushed him over to the other side of the cart into his twin James.  Next to me, Aldenis my other friend was laughing at the site of Kevin getting pushed around.

Kevin is made up of more fat then muscle, and is pretty short.  Aldenis is the tallest of all of us, and could probably lift Kevin and me at the same time.  Finally, Kevin’s twin James is basically me with black hair and brown eyes.  I don’t even know how Kevin and James can even be called twins, because they are so different.

After a few minutes of struggle and the laughter of Aldenis, Kevin was back on his feet.  He gave Aldenis and me a bad look, but then he smiled and continued talking.  If there was one thing Kevin could do great, its talking.  You would think he was Candor if you didn’t know him.

“As I was saying, are you all going to pick Dauntless?”  He stairs at all of us with an intent look.

“I bet you would like to go pick Amnity and frolic in the fields eating apples to your hearts content!” Aldenis begins to laugh hysterically and so do I.

“Come on Aldenis, just answer the freaking question!”  Kevin looks at me in dismay.

I speak up and say, “Yes I will be choosing Dauntless.”

“And I belong here, I am the strongest here!” Aldenis says admiring his muscles

Kevin smirks “Well you are more selfish and you lie more than anyone in this faction, so Abnegation and Candor are out.  Also, you are as dumb as a rock and less cultured than one so Amnity and Erudite are out of the picture as well.  All you have is your brute strength.”

I start laughing like I never have before and so does James.  During this, Aldenis snares at Kevin and slouches to the floor, and so do I still laughing.  After I finally stop I pat on Aldenis’s back and he smiles at me.  This was a good ride before a good day.

After what seemed like forever we finally made it to the Choosing Ceremony so I get up, prep myself, and jump…
