I beamed when Nico took my hand. I have a new friend, "What do you want to know?" He asked looking at me with wide eyes. "Why are you in the forest?" I replied leaning closer, effectively pinning him to the tree. He flinched, "the guy who got my sister killed forgot that today is the anniversary of her death" Nico whispered his eyes filled with tears once again. I frowned, "if you don't mind me asking, how did she die?" I whispered back. He sighed, "she was shot in the chest and Percy couldn't protect her" his tears overflowed to his cheeks. I frowned slightly and pulled him closer, "he should have done something to protect her" I exclaimed holding him to my chest. "Thanks Jason" he smiled. "Why are you here?" He questioned, looking back up at me with round eyes. "Just going for a walk" I lied, he doesn't need to know about my other 'friends'. We continue talking for about an hour before he has to leave. "I'll meet you here tomorrow, Jason. Is that okay?" He asks tilting his head. I nod and beam again. "See you tomorrow", he smiles back and waves, walking away through the forest.
