(Short one shot full of fluff. Because who doesn't like fluff?)
Lucy's POV
I yawned and stood at my signature spot I always wait while waiting for the doors to open in school. I put my heavy backpack down and combed my hair with my hand. As I was about to grab my phone out of my backpack, I hear light footsteps coming towards me. I looked up and saw a smiling Ally. Ally Brooke. Also known as my best friend since 4th grade. It all started when I was trying to make it to one end to another on the monkey bars, and midway I almost smacked Ally in the face. That's how our friendship began.
"Hey Luce!" Ally waved happily jumping towards me and giving me a sweet hug. "Hey Alls." I responded back and looked back at her glowing smile. She's always so radiant with happiness, I don't understand how she does it. "How come you're so early to school today? You don't usually come to school this early. I'm usually all alone." I joked curiously. "Well my brother dropped me off early today because he has to pick up something for our mom. I don't know something like that." She waved off. "Oh I see." I trailed off and looked around.
I spotted the familiar black haired girl from a distance going towards a group of teens she always hangs out with that were talking in a circle. Lauren Jauregui. The girl I find extremely cute and gorgeous, but never had the guts to do anything about it. She ended up talking to one of the teens who I knew was names Normani Kordei. Normani Kordei is known to be in a popular group of kids for dancing. I talk to most of the kids from the well known group, but I'm not close to them like Ally. I watched as both girls animately talked with gestures. Suddenly, the black haired girl turned around making me immediately turn back to look at Ally who was oblivious to my action still talking happily.
"....so I'm going to that party Troy invited my to get drunk and high." She finished off. "Yea that's great." Not even realizing what she said. I processed again what she just said in my mind and widened my eyes. "Wait what?!" I said surprised. The short girl started laughing and put a hand on her hip. "I knew you weren't paying attention to me." Ally exclaimed chuckling one more time before pausing. Before Ally could say anything else, I watched as the doors were open by the custodian and headed inside without hearing a peep from Ally.

Once I entered the school and put some things away in my locker, I wandered around the halls to pass time. I couldn't hang out with Ally since she ended up having choir practice. I randomly started to move my arms in a dance routine that I was trying to memorize today when all of a sudden someone started walking next to me. I jumped from the sudden voice greeting me. "Hi!" Lauren greeted. I looked up and put my hands down. "Hey" I tried to play off cool.
I fiddled with my backpack straps and listened. "I am not ready for the test this Friday." Lauren starts off groaning. "Sameeee. I honestly don't really like math anymore because I don't understand anything since." I admitted and rubbed my hands on my backpack straps. "Same." She let out. "I'm sure you'll do amazing though. I have faith on you." I ended and felt a boost of confidence in me. I stopped near some benches and faced the girl that hypnotized me. "You are wasting you're faith on me then." She laughed and sat down. I leaned on a pole near us and crossed my arms. "It's worth it" I shrugged and looked down blushing in embarrassment at what I just said. She chuckled at my reaction.
"Don't hide your face when you're with me." She let out softly. I slowly looked up at her and let out a shy smile.
"There we go. Now I get to see your beautiful face."

"Okay guys, we have an assembly we have to attend to, so form a straight line." The teacher instructs giving us orders like we're fifth graders. I internally closed my eyes and got in line. I put my hands behind my back and fiddled with them as we quietly walked to the assembly room. I felt a hand take my right hand causing my to let go of my left making me frowned in confusion.
