I'm at Starbucks, and I'm waiting for Cat.

She should be here soon.

I think?

Am I early?

Am I late?

Is time frozen?

Am I stuck in a time lapse?

Is-"Hey, Joey..."

I looked up.

Hot.Hot.Dayum!!

Standing there, was the world's most beautiful person EVER!!

AKA, Cat.

Love of my life.

I think.

Then I realized that I was staring at her.

I cleared my throat and she blushed as I looked away.

"Soo.....Sup?" I said, trying to be casual.

"On a date with you?"

"True..." I smiled.

.

Cat smiled back.

"Erm so.... should I place our order?" I asked.

"Sure. Thank you." Cat said.

I just nodded.

"So what do you want?"

.

"A Caramel Machiatto, please." She smiled.

.

"Ok, I'll be on my way then." I said.

.

"Yep." She said.

.

I went and asked for two Caramel Machiattos' under the name of Jatrific.

Cat and I talked for a while, then I knocked over the table.

It was embarrasing.

I collected our drinks and left.

Cat was still laughing.

"Its not funny!" I pouted.

Cat tried to choke out a reply, but was laughing too hard.

I patted her back, which made her laugh harder.

I needed to shut her up.

So, I kissed her.

She quit laughing.

Then, I broke away, gave her her coffee, and ran.

What was I thinking?!?!

Cat's POV

Tears welled up in my eyes, embarrassed.

The kiss was fucking majestically magical, but then he ran away!

Was I that bad?

I thought that...I don't know.

Why would Joey ever like me?

He probably just pretended to be my friend.

I don't know anymore.

I'm such an emotional freaking girl ugh

I mean it isn't even that big a deal.. Maybe he remembered that he forgot to brush his teeth and he needed to leave ?
