~Saturday~
"Have fun kids! Stay safe!" My mom runs up to the car and gives me a kiss on the cheek, "Call me when you get there, understood?"
"Okay, bye mom." I wave at her and my dad.
Safia, our best friend, and driver for today, pulls out of my driveway and onto the avenue.
There are about twelve of us going down the shore in three different cars. So of course I'm traveling with Nate, Jess, and Safia.
Nate and I have the back, while Jess has the passenger seat, so I use that to my advantage and I grab a hold of Nate's hand, while I cuddle into his chest. I always feel safe in his arms. Nate gives me a kiss on the cheek, but says nothing.
I end up falling asleep and Nate wakes me up when we arrive at a highway stop along the way.
"Do you want anything babe?" He asks.
"I need to pee, but some fries would be cool." I smile and kiss him.
We all get out of the car to do our business and get some food in the highway stop. The other two groups of friends came in around the same time. We talk about the trip and how we're so hyped for it, before we get back into our cars and meet each other there.
Only a half hour left. I squeal with excitement and hold on to Nate's hand harder.
When Jess and Safia aren't looking, I whisper into Nate's ear about how excited I am to share a room with him. I hold onto his thigh and smirk at him. He moves my hand and says, "Later, babe."
Neseling into his neck, I sigh. The things we're all going to do this weekend without parental supervision...
I look out the window of the Cadillac and my smile grows. We're here! We're the last group to arrive, but we already arranged for us to have a meeting about room arrangements in the livingroom. We walk in and the party animal of our group, Travis, has his shades on and his music blasting from speakers in his backpack. We all gather around in the living-room and talk about rooms. Since there are twelve of us and only six rooms, each room is to be shared by two people. Nate and I got an upstairs room that has a balcony.
Lugging our stuff up the stairs, I jump in excitement with Margaret at the top of the steps. Her room is across from ours. We talk about our plans for the weekend- shopping, swimming, partying, and the overall freedom to do whatever we want. Today, we're unpacking and going to the beach, which is right outside this rental beachhouse.
Margaret walks into her room to unpack and I begin to do so as well. Nate comes up from behind me when I'm unpacking and gently rests his arms around my waist and lays his head on my shoulder. I smile at the gesture and start to lay out all of my clothes on the bed.
"Which bathingsuit should I go with babe?" I pick up the solid-black bikini and the white with blue striped one.
"The black one." He replies.
"Close the door?" I ask him.
He lets go of me and walks to the door to lock it. Nate doesn't bother to unpack, he just takes his red swim trunks out of his bag. We change, and I ask him to tie the back of my bikini. He does so, and I love when his hands touch my skin. I turn over to kiss him and we make out for a good two minutes before he winces and says that we should get going. Is he feeling okay? We walk downstairs and head out the door.
We grab our beach essentials from our cars- chairs, sunscreen, games, etc. The beach was only a street away. I can smell the ocean and the high-in-calorie food from here. Our whole group set up under the boardwalk. We parted ways to play beach volleyball, to tan, or to swim. Nate and I went over to the beach volleyball.
