Amidst the Fog

After a couple days of silence, you were beginning to get paranoid, and although you couldn't tell, so was Tobias. 

"Hurry up!" Tobias yelled from in front of you. 

You simply yawned before fastening your walking pace to finally stop beside Tobias. 

"You haven't been sleeping-" Tobias said, not even bothering to turn and look at you. 

You sighed. "Neither have you-" 

"That's d i f f e r e n t. I'm used to having absolutely no sleep- You aren't- You're still human-" He snapped at you. After a moment of recollecting his thoughts. "I suppose I should try to sleep as well..." 

You nodded. "I've been paranoid... Having nightmares-"

Tobias nodded in understandment. "I have too..."

"And for good reason too!" A far too familiar and shocking voice called from behind the two.  

You jerked behind you towards the voice, breath becoming quick and pant-like. 

"It can't be- You weren't moving." Tobias growled in anger. 

"Haven't you ever heard of playing possum?" His voice glitched. "I will ad-" He glitched mid-sentence. "Admit that, that water did do a number on me- But I have plenty of those-" He laughed. 

"I had to get rid of you- You goddamn nuisance. You're a threat to all that the Boss has planned for us. A perfect world. You and him are nothing but little kids who wittle ppaareentts got hurt~" He laughed.

"I don't love you and I never will-" You scoffed.

He laughed even harder. "ME LOVE Y O U? IN YOUR DREAMS SWEETHEART! I have no love for anyone- I'm a fucking murder. People like me don't kill people relentless and sleep like a baby and feel shit like love-" (A+ to whoever gets that reference :') )

"More like in my nightmares..." You chuckled.

He growled. "Don't play smart with me, B i t c h."

Tobias took a step forward. "You will not get rid of us that easily." He said in a firm, yet non-emotional tone.

"What'ya gonna do? Hurt me?" His voice glitched as his laugh turned high pitched, then deep and demonic.

"Nah... Just gonna hurt'cha... Really, Really bad." He started walking forward. (A++ to whoever got that quote) He slashed at BEN without a second thought.

BEN glitched out and teleported, he seemed surprised. "This isn't OVER!" He snarled and ran.
