Chapter 5

Did you know that I have a brother? No? Well, lo and behold, Ivan the magnificent! Let me just say that the magnificent is spelt backward....
Tnecifingam! It is NOT a word. No words can describe is horrible boy. It's... wordless.

Anyways, he is a pain in the ass but too bad, I'm stuck with him till I get my own home.

I dumped my bag in the living room and went to the music room. It's not a big room but it has mp3 players and a keyboard and a guitar.

Ivan walked in and tossed my music book on the floor so he could put his own book on the stand. (He was using the keyboard)

"Stupid book." He muttered.

"If you're calling the book stupid means you're stupid as well." I told him.

"The book is stupid, not me."

"Well, books are knowledge and you don't call them stupid."

"Some books are stupid."

"State the fact of some. "

"Some books are."

"Books are knowledge. None of them are stupid." I said matter-of-factly.

"Well, I could write a book with only the letter 'A' in every page. It's stupid." He fired back.

"Because you're stupid that's why the books you write are STUPID. Got it, retard?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him.

"I-I-I...! I'll tell mommy that you called me stupid!" He yelled as he stormed off the room.

Hah. As I said, wordless equals speechless.

When dinner, we sat in the dining room. As usual. Mom served her famous cottage pie. Yep, I love mom's cooking! I mean, who wouldn't love their mom's cooking?

"Mommy. Teacher said I was terrific!" Ivan exclaimed, smiling at mom.

I coughed. I coughed so hard mom thought that I was choking.

"Are you choking on your food my dear? Ivan, don't talk. You might choke too." Mom said.

I stopped coughing. "No ma. I was
choking on Ivan's words."
