"Oh, Jack, this place is wonderful!" I said, walking in the middle of the empty dance floor, releasing his hand.

"I can just imagine us dancing here in front of everyone!" I spun around with my eyes closed, smiling.

"Well, isn't my princess excited?" he asked, taking my hands and started dancing with me.

"Ah, young love. It's quite lovely, really." Mark said, walking up behind us.

I looked at him. "Mark, you literally are a year older than us." I said, rolling my eyes with a smile on my face.

"Ah, well, thanks for reminding me that I'm the "dad" here." he put up air quotes around the word dad.

"So you had us when you were one?" Jack asked, chuckling.

"Eh, you could say that I've always been a ladies man. I was even a ladies baby." Mark said, chuckling.

I laughed at him. I was in such a giddy mood. The wedding is two weeks! I just can't wait!

"Time to go taste test cake." I said.

"CAKE!" Jack said and ran past the sales lady that was gonna rent out this place for us.

"We'll see you in two weeks." I said and handed her a check. I walked out of the place and Mark stayed with me. Jack was already in the car, practically bouncing up and down in his seat.

I chuckled at his adorableness. "Gosh, I love him."

"He's definitely something else." Mark said, chuckling.

I got into the drivers seat since Jack didn't have a license. I had gotten a new car a little while after the crash and everything that followed after it.

I back out of the parking space and made my leave.

It was homecoming night.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I was in my maroon dress with gems on it. I sighed and thought about if I even wanted to go. I had no one to go with. Jack was going with his "toy" thing or whatever. He only used her for sex. But she wouldn't keep having sex with him if they didn't go to homecoming together, so he's doing that.

I on the other hand had broken up with my abusive ex boyfriend, Ryan. I was glad that he was gone but I was upset that no one would go with me to homecoming.

My feelings for Jack had only kept growing throughout the years. I knew he didn't like me. I just had that gut feeling, ya know?

Even though a few weeks ago he kissed my cheek. I touched the place where he kissed. I'm pretty sure he only did that because he felt bad for beating the crap out of Ryan.

Oh yeah. Jack beat the crap out of Ryan for hitting me. He also got beat up by Ryan's friends, but he ended up winning in the end so it was okay.

I looked at my clock. "It's 7 already?" I ran downstairs. "Mom! It's 7! We gotta go!" I ran and grabbed my purse that had my ticket and some extra money in it.

My mom rushed to the car and started it, hurrying off. The dance had just started and I was late! Just my luck.

I got out the car andrushed to the door and gave them my ticket.

"Do you have an ID?" the vendor asked.

"Yes..." I looked through my purse for my ID but couldn't seem to find it.

"Oh man! I can't find it!" I exclaimed.

"No ID, no entry." he said.

"Come on, man! I spent hours getting ready, just cut me some slack!" I said.

"Give me your ID or leave." he said.

Just then Jack walked out onto the lobby. He saw me and walked over to us.

"What's going on?" Jack asked.

I looked over to him and saw him in his suit. His left eyebrow pierced and his blue eyes beautiful like always. It almost made me want to swoon.

"I told her no ID, No entry. She doesn't have her ID so she needs to leave." the vendor said.

"I obviously go here! How else would I get the ticket?" I yelled.

"Calm down, (Y/N). I got this." he looked at the vendor.

"You're going to let her in, buddy. And if you don't, I don't think you want the same fate as Ryan and his friends." Jack threatened.

He seemed to always use that threat and it always worked.

"W-woah, okay. Sorry Jack. She can go in..." the vendor said, stamping and handing me back my ticket.

I took it with a small huff

"M'lady?" Jack asked, holding his arm out.

I wrapped my arm around his. "What happened to your date?"

He began to escort me into the dance. "I told her to f*ck off. She started b*tching at me." he said.

"About?" I asked.

"Wearing a maroon tie rather than a blue one." he said.

I looked down at myself. "I'm wearing maroon."

He chuckled. "I know. That's why I did it." he said.

I blushed lightly. "Y-you did?" I asked him.

"Yes. I was planning on dancing with you tonight and I didn't want to not match you. That's why I asked what color dress you were wearing last week." Jack said.

I remembered that. I blushed darker. "I-i-i-" I stuttered out.

"I've been looking forward to this  (Y/N)." Jack said, chuckling.

We entered the dance and everyone seemed to turn their heads. It was the main dance time.

Me and Jack took the middle of the floor. He grabbed my hand and put other hand on the side of my waist. I put one hand on his shoulder and took his hand.

The music played and we slow danced with him taking the lead. He looked down at first.

"You're great at this!" he said, chuckling. He looked into my eyes with his beautiful blue ones.

I smiled at him. "T-thank you..."

The rest of the night was amazing. He took me home and I went to bed that night, smiling and not forgetting his beautiful blue eyes.

Jack and I bit into a small piece of cake at the same time. "Mmm!" I said. It was (insert favorite cake flavor here). And it was delicious!

"This one." Jack said, pointing to the flavor.

"Alright! Amazing choice, by the way." the lady wrote down the flavor.

We paid for the cake decided to go home after that. We were tired.

When we got home soon after that and walled into the house. I flopped down onto the couch. "Hey, Jack?" I said aloud.

He walked into the house and sat down on the couch next to me. "Yeah?" he asked.

"Do you remember homecoming night back in highschool?" I asked him.

"I do." he said. "Why?" Jack said.

"I was just reminiscing about it about an hour ago.. I hope you know that I really did like you through out these years.. No matter how hard things got." I admitted.

"I was always head over heels in love with you." Jack admitted. "I just didn't think you felt the same way. You never asked me out or asked about feelings or anything and you would get with other guys... I started getting with other girls to make you jealous but you were always so supportive of them and I just didn't know what to do..." he shook his head. "But, I'm glad we're getting married now and that we finally understad what our feelings are for each other."

"Unconditional love." I said, smiling.
