Ok, I saw some other people doing this and I thought it was pretty cool so I wanted to do it myself! Hope you enjoy!
------------------------------------------------------"EVERYONE BE QUIET!" Ludwig (Germany) shouted angrily making everyone shut up. Ludwig sighed deeply at the other nations stupidity. He sat back down on his chair and facepalmed for a few seconds before resuming his spiel.
"We are meant to be-" Ludwig was cut off by a loud and strangely familiar voice that made the whole room look around in confusion while two of them looked as if they were either about to cry or kill someone.
"You guys work too hard!" An extremely loud voice said cheerfully seemingly coming from absolutely nowhere.
"Nonno?" Feliciano (Veneziano) asked confused, trying to find out where the unexpected and unknown, or previously unknown, voice was coming from.
"What!? Nonno!?" Lovino (Romano) asked or rather shouted up towards the ceiling.
"Yes. That was him. Now listen. We all decided that you should take a break and get to know each other." Another voice sighed, the previous voice could be heard whining and trying to be heard.
"And how the fuck are we supposed to do that?!" Lovino yelled out angrily, clearly not too fond of the strange decision that these voices had decided upon.
"Diaries. And a few statements we added in to make things more amusing." The same voice said, the other voice was still trying to be heard again.
"Wait! Are we reading each other's diaries!?" Gilbert (Prussia) yelled out extremely loudly or rather talked normally, he was way too loud...
"To put it plainly! ...Yes! Have fun!" The first voice managed to speak once again much to the displeasure of the second one who could be heard muttering in colourful language in the... Background?
"Do we get any say in this?" Arthur (England) asked, probably hoping that he didn't have to take part in the strange activity.
"No. You can't leave until this is over," The second voice stated "bye."
A decrepit book was paved in darkened leather back, there was no telling how old it could be - maybe fifty, maybe two hundred. It was withered in its old age and tea stains ran down its pages like a silky black dress. Someone in the distant past had ripped out pages and left a jagged edged page. It held the past... and would hold the future suddenly appeared on the table in front of all the nations.
"Well... I think the question is who reads first, aru?" Yao (China) asked confused, lightly brushing his hands over the front cover of the book for a few seconds before letting go of the book and returning his hand to his side.
"I will." Ludwig stated taking the heavy looking book into his hands and opening it up to not the first page but a few pages along as it was completely blank, the pages were crumpled and looked extremely worn out which didn't make sense. Did the voices have this for a while? If so, why?
"Dear diary, I wish people would stop asking if I sparkle - Vladimir " Ludwig read aloud before letting out a small deep chuckle at placing the large book back down on the table.
The whole room chuckled and looked towards Vladimir (Romania) who had currently turned a dark shade of red.
"You don't know how many times I have actually been asked that question." He sighed and shook his head in his hands.
"But do you?" Alfred (America) asked jokingly to the red boy who looked up to the seemingly embarrassed boy who stared at the childish nation with a small smile on his face.
"Unfortunately I don't, trust me, I wish I did!" Vladimir laughed along with most people in the room, a few just stared at the laughing people in confusion clearly not getting the reference to the all too popular book series and other just sighed and shook their heads.
"Next one. Dear diary, Iceland forgot Puffin at home today... The thing just keeps looking at me. I don't know what to do with it... Help. - Lukas" Ludwig smiled slightly at the entry
Lukas (Norway) looked away in embarrassment, hiding his cheeks which were suddenly kissed pink like a spring rose.
"So that's why you were scared that day!" Matthias (Denmark) yelled out, pointing at the already embarrassed Nordic nation who just turned even darker at the comment.
Everyone, once again, burst out in laughter at Matthias's comment. They had decided that maybe this wouldn't be such a bad idea to read out some diary entries.
"Can I read next?" Alfred asked trying to keep himself calm and stop himself from laughing so he could read the large book that had proven itself to be very much amusing to the nations and made the meeting a little more fun.
