As per the MudWing norm, Moss's parents met during one of the breeding nights where MudWings mate, and they both decided to do so. Maple laid Moss' egg and his 4 siblings eggs months later.
Like most MudWings, Maple and Alligator didn't really care for their dragonets or each other. In fact Maple didn't even learn Alligator's name, and he didn't learn hers.

Abilities: can breathe fire if warm enough, hold his breath for an hour, is very strong.

Personality: cautious, quiet, determined, slow to anger,

Occupation: wants to be one of the royal guards at Queen Moorhens Palace. He trains with his bigwings to improve his fighting skill, and he also trains with some of the other royal guard trainees. He gets his scars from his battle training.

Moss was the second to hatch among his siblings, the bigwings is his brother Oak. Moss' other brothers are Lichen and Heron, and they have a sister named Fen.
After they hatched they were taken to a nursery, since dragonets can't survive on their own, they learned the ways of MudWings there and when they were old enough, they left the nursery when they were 2.
Working together they all got temporary jobs and by the time they were 5 they managed to get their own home, where they now reside happily.
At least all of them except Moss who is now attending Jade Mountain Academy by order of the Queen.
