Chapter 8

The drive to Harry’s house was awkward at best; he was silent the entire time. When we get to his house he still hasn’t talked to me. “Harry is something wrong you haven’t said anything since we left the mall” I said finally breaking the silence. He looks at me “I will be ok once you delete that number from what’s her name” he said to me seriously. I look at him like he’s stupid “why would I do that?” I say. “Because you don’t need something useless like that” he says getting mad. I glare at him “I won’t delete it, what are you my father, oh wait you’re not, my real father is across the world thinking I’m dead” I yell at him before storming into the house and to my room.

I pay for the clothes thinking how cute Niall was for being embarrassed, while ignoring the cashier trying to slide me her number. I walk out the store to find Niall not waiting where I thought he would be.  I scan the crowd to find him with two girls talking. I use my superhearing to listen to their conversation. “Hey who’s this?” one girl says eyeing Niall. “This is Niall I use to go to school with him or I guess I still go to school with him” says the other girl, “Hi” I say. “Niall, this is Ira she’s my best friend” I walk over there at that point coming to stand beside Niall enjoying their reactions. The girl named Ira had the same reaction I’m use to with human women but the other girl seemed scared, I ignore it then I look into the girl named Ira’s mind to see that she is thinking some not so innocent thoughts, going pass that I find the other girls name is Taylor. “Hello Ladies, what can I do for you?” I say. “No we’re good I was just talking to Niall, we went to the same high school” Taylor says, I hear Ira mutter under her breath ‘I know I few things you could do for me’. I smile “If that is all I think we should be going now.” Niall gives me a look. “Niall before you leave could I have your number, I would love to talk to you again” says Taylor. I start to get mad because Niall is mine. “Sure” I hear Niall saying before taking out his phone making me glare at her. She seems to notice and starts to back away. I feel a tap on my side and realize Niall was elbowing me; I look at him in surprise. “Well Taylor I guess we will be going now” Niall says before he attempts to drag me away, I let him because I didn’t want to stay around the girls.  

I got in the car and drive home thinking about why I reacted too badly to that girl, I never lose my composer like that. The ride home was a silent one and I had no intention of breaking the silence. We get to my house when Niall says “Harry is something wrong you haven’t said anything since we left the mall” I look at him deciding to tell the truth “I will ok once you delete that number from what’s her name” I say. Niall gives me a look and says “why would I do that?” I stare at him thinking why doesn’t he get it “Because you don’t need something useless like that” I say getting a little mad about it. Niall yells at me “I won’t delete it, what are you my father, oh wait you’re not, my real father is across the world thinking I’m dead” before running into the house and off to his room slamming the door.

I shake my head, what have I done, when I hear chuckling. I look up to see Zayn coming outside followed by Liam, Zayn having a big smirk on his face. I glare at him “What are you doing here?” I say. “Oh come now Harry, did you forget we planned to meet here to discuss your pets’ safety at the Ball” says Zayn still smiling. “No I did not forget, I meant what are you doing there listening into other people’s business” I say walking past him into the house heading to my office knowing he would follow me.
