Chapter 9

After going over the plan we finally agree on what to do. “Harry we will protect him, what are friends for” says Zayn with a smile walking towards the door. I get up to follow him when my knees give out, making me collapse to the floor. Zayn and Liam rush to help me up with worried faces. “Harry are you ok, when’s the last time you fed?” I look away “I haven’t fed in a few days,” Zayn’s eyes widen in surprise “Your supposed to feed daily Harry, why are you skipping meals?” I jerk out of their arms and walk to a chair. “I want Niall to have as much of a normal life as possible, and constantly reminding him I’m a vampire isn’t going to help.” I say looking down. “Just leave me alone, I will take care of myself. Don’t worry I won’t be a problem for the plan” I say finally looking at them. “Fine, as long as you do something about it. Well I will be taking my leave for now” Zayn says before leaving with Liam following after him.

I look back at Harry as we leave, wondering how he could let himself get in such a bad condition. I stop walking “Zayn do you mind if I go somewhere for a second? It won’t take long.” Zayn looks at me nodding his head. “Thank you, Master” I say as I start to walk away, but I feel my sleeve being pulled. I stop to see its Zayn “What have I told you about calling me Master, please don’t do that it makes me feel lonely” he says with a sad face. I smile “Sorry Zayn” I say making him smile. I walk away and he lets me this time.   I head towards Niall’s room, knocking on the door. “Go away Harry I don’t want to see you right now” says Niall. I knock again saying “It’s not Harry, it’s me Liam.” The door opens and Niall pokes his head out the room looking around checking to see if it’s just me. “Come in Liam, what can I do for you?” he says. I walk into the room and look around, finding a chair I sit down, Niall sits across from me. “Niall there’s something I want to talk to you about” I say. “Sure what is it” he says. “Why haven’t you been feeding Harry properly” I say. He looks confused “What do you mean feed him properly, we ate something on the way here.” I shake my head “I don’t mean human food, you do remember he is a vampire right, he needs blood to live” I say. “What do you mean, he feed off me a few days ago.” I shake my head again “Vampires have to feed daily, right now Harry is weak and can barely stand without help.” I tell him. “It’s his fault he became like that not mine” Niall says defensively. “Niall you’re a vampires pet, meaning you should know when he needs to feed” I say. “What are you talking about, how could I know when he needs to feed if he doesn’t tell me” he says getting mad. I start to get impatient “Niall think about it, use your senses to feel for Harry, and tell me what you feel” I say. “Fine” he says, starting to concentrate.

I start to concentrate on Harry, when I feel a huge wave of hunger and bloodlust wash over me. It breaks my concentration “What was that?” I say confused. Liam looks at me “That was Harry, that’s what you have been putting him through” he says serious. “OMG, what have I done? That was horrible, is that what he’s feeling right now?” I say. “Yes, it is” Liam says. I stand up and run out the room towards Harry leaving Liam behind.

Niall runs to Harry, happy that I did what I came to do I go to meet Zayn. “Are you ready to go Liam” Zayn says putting his arm around my waist. “Yes Zayn, we can leave now” I say as we get in the car to leave.
