As Lucy decended from the stairs, everyone was speechless at her beauty. Her father and mother where standing at the bottom of the stairs. She walked down till reaching the last step, her father held his hand out for her. She grabbed his hand with smile
"You look beautiful" he told her, leading her to the main table
"Thanks dad, where are Yukio and Rin?"
"They are still in Rin's room trying to get him to wear a suit" Lucy laughed
"I'm sure Yukio can handle it" she looked around, "I think I will go and get to know those who came" he nodded
She made her way around the ballroom the first person who came up to her was a young man with silver-purple and light purple snake-like eyes. He also had a tattoo under his left eye with jewelry around his fingers and hands. If you knew him really well, you would know he is a flirt, a badass in battles and a Shadow Devil Slayer.

"Hello Princess Lucy" he smiled
"Hello" she bowed, "May I know your name?"
"My name is Kaoru, from the Snake Kingdom" he bowed
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Prince Kaoru" he kissed her hand
He led her to table near the back where she saw an older man and women with silver-purple hair and snake-like eyes.
"Mother, Father" he bowed, "Meet Princess Lucy"
"Hello Princess, thank you so much for inviting us to this lovely ball" his mother curtised
"It's a pleasure to finally meet the beautiful little girl I knew back then" his father bowed, "It's great to have you back home"
"Please, I'm glad to be home and the pleasure is all mine for having you here"
"Please sit and chat with us" Queen of Snake Kingdom motioned
Lucy took a seat next to the Prince and his father began to tell stories about when she was small. He had been with her father since they were teens and when he heard he was having a girl, he was so happy. In his Kingdom is all boys and he would have loved to have a little girl, to love and protect. So ever since he met Lucy, he cared for her as his own daughter. It was a nightmare when those men came and wanted to take her away. He knew he had to make a choice and he choose to run to Lucy's father side with an army to protect Lucy.
