Chapter 6: The rescue

Kazui's P.O.V

Kazui went for his shoulder "why are you here" Kazui said annoyed "I just wanted to say hi" Reiki joked which infuriated Kazui then suddenly another guy came with a soul reaper on his shoulder "I got Ichika let's go" the smirked at me "sorry to cut our meeting so short I had fun" Reiki grind then both of the left I tried to get them but the were faster but then someone came when I turned it was Ichika I was confused but happy but Ichika she was sad she blamed herself for Kiki getting kidnapped she just stared at where they left.

Then she dropped on her knees and started to cry I hated to see her like this the girl who could stand up to anyone or anything was now kneeling down boiling her eyes out I wrapped my arms around her and she started to cry her eyes out "it..was..my fault" Ichika said through her tears "no it's not" I couldn't think of what to say that was the only thing that came to mind "Ichika" Rukia came running "why she crying" Renji said sacred I'm guessing he didn't even know what to do "all..my..fault" was the only thing Ichika said "what was" Renji said confused "Reiki came again I fought him again and then I another guy came saying that he got Ichika but instead they got Kiki and I guess Ichika thinks because she was with her that it was her fault the had mistook Kiki for Ichika" I said aggressively "ok let's get her to the place your staying at" Rukia gave little smiled I was still wondering why it's so funny then we walked up to the house and there was hands holding up a sign "DAD" I yelled when I entered "there you are what happened to you" my dad wondering what had taken me long "I got lost then I had to fight Reiki" I said frustrated "he came to the soul society" they were all confused "yeah" I said do they not believe me "okay what we going to do" I said sighing "I'm not sure" Yoruichi said also sighing.

Ichika's P.O.V

My mind stopped working then my legs I just fell to the ground and then my tears started to fall and then Kazui confronted me memories of Kiki help me when I was down came rushing so I started to cry harder and all I could say was that it was my fault but Kazui said it wasn't then I heard my dad and my mum's voice but I didn't care what they were saying but Kazui did seem to be mad then Kazui picked me up and we ended up at someone's house then he put me down looking then he started to yell but I started to blank out remembering that just five minutes ago Kiki and I were laughing and she was helping then I heard that they were trying to think of something to help.

I wiped my tears "there's only thing we can do" I said standing up everyone looked at me "save her" I said determined they all looked at me "we have to wait we don't know where she is and it's late we'll stay the night and tell the captains that plans have changed" Yoruichi said worried "right we'll go now" my dad said getting up "right you guys stay here my cousins should be coming soon so sit tight until we come back" Ichigo said with smile but before Yoruichi left she whispered something to Kazui after they left I couldn't sit still "I'm going out for a walk you stay here and wait for your cousins" I said and then left I decided to walk near the recon district where Hideo came running "I heard you were attacked twice and then Kiki was taken" He said "yeah" I said hurt "what are you going to do" he looked at me "I'm waiting" I said frustrated "or you could come with me to get her" he said in seductive tone "what" I said shocked "well it's the soul society the hardest place to break into so they should be somewhere here" he smiled "alright tonight at nine come to here" I wrote the address of the place we were staying at and went back.

Kazui's P.O.V

I watched Ichika leave I knew that I had to give her space so I waited it started to get darker I got little restless until my dad and the others came back and two other people were behind them "Kazui I want you to meet to two people they are our cousins" my dad pointed to the two people behind one was female she was as tall as Yoruichi and about the same age with black hair her face kinda looked like Aunty Karin she had badges wrapped around her head and on here shoulder her right arm looks fake and the other person was a guy younger around dads age maybe a bit older he has black long hair with sweat band around his head he kinda looks like grandpa when he was younger "this is Kukaku and this is Ganju" my dad said with a smile and pointed to each of them "hello" I smiled and bowed "what's with the formality were family" Ganju smiled and rubbed my head "so this little brat is this bigger brat but you seem more smarter then you dad" Kukaku grind "ignoring" my dad pouted "ok let's eat and we'll tell you what happened" Yoruichi said seriously "wait where is Ichika" Rukia looked around "um she went—" I stopped because Ichika came in running "I'm here it's ok" she smiled which made me a bit suspicious because she felt gloomy before she left and at dinner she looked a bit distant like she was somewhere else "ok so it is going to be the same plan we go to Kisuke ask if he knows where they might be but the captains are still coming because when we find their location we are going to go straight and save Kiki because Ichika's head wouldn't be in it if we waited for the fight" Yoruichi looked at me and Ichika Ichika gave little smile which made me more suspicious after dinner Ichika got up "I'm going to bed good night" she smiled and left at this point I was worried.

We all went to bed I didn't sleep yet I just had a bad feeling I heard a door close so I got up and followed the sound I saw a person so I squinted to see closer and as I thought it was Ichika so I followed her without calling her or asking why she was up and in her shinigami form she went out and a guy was there "ok where should we look first" Ichika whispered I couldn't keep quiet I had a really bad feeling about this "I have a feeling your not cheating on me and your not going to a midnight walked nor is he your friend" I said leaning against the archway they both turned around "Kazui" Ichika said shocked and nervous I looked at her I put the pieces together the thing Yoruichi whispered to me to watch her she's in a fragile state, the smile when she came back, the distant look at dinner, the small smile after what Yoruichi said, the sleeping early, the sneaking out and what she just said "your going to go look for Kiki and I'm sure it wasn't your idea it was definitely that guy but knowing your state you were right on board" I said with a smirk I could see she was mad because I found out with one glance but also relieved that she didn't have to hide it "she is here Kiki must have been here how can someone get in here and just leave" she said with a pleading tone and her eyes said just let me go and look for her "how did my dad and the others get in here and out, how did the hollows get in here, how did Aizen get in here and get out yes the got caught but the soul society has never been able to battle against the unknowns so please think about it" I said walking towards Ichika "that doesn't mean they left they could still be here" Ichika said being stubborn "hey she wants to go let her" that guy stepped in "say if IF you do somehow found her what are two going to do? fight them? when we couldn't beat one together or are you saying that you two are more better suited" I said raising my voice "I can protect her" the guy acted strongly "I really don't care if this guy wants to end his life quicker but you I care" I said gently grabbing Ichika's arms "please" I said pleading Ichika looked at me and pushed me off of her and stormed off I knew she knew that I was right. I looked at the guy "leave now and don't ever give her crazy ideas like that again because I'm her boyfriend, not you even if I weren't those tactics wouldn't work on Ichika" I smirked that guy looked at me "maybe but after tonight I'm pretty sure she'll be free and I can try again" he chuckled and then he left I sighed then went back in I went to Ichika's room to see her sulking in the corner I wanted to laugh because she looked like a frail little child but I knew it wasn't the time for that so I just walk over to her.
