Aubrey's pov

How dare he? He doesn't know what its like to be abondaned by everyone.

I headed back to the studio room with my name on it.

It didn't seem right to me. Being left alone by my parents too. They didn't even by me a apartment to stay in. I was going to live here until they gave me money for a place to live, food, something to drink, and new clean clothes.

I picked up my notebook and scanned over one of the songs I wrote.

My manager, Stella Martin, walked in. She was in her sixties, yet she was very stylish and wore really expensive clothes. "Aubrey, honey, you have a visitor."

"If its Justin Bieber, tell him to leave me the fuck alone."

She seemed taken aback by choice of words but told a boy to come inside. I had been hoping it was Sarah.

"Oh no. Not you." I backed up.

"You owe me some kind of explanation." He said. Light brown hair and blue eyes, the same that made me fall in love with him and the same that made me hate him with a burning passion.

"No, I really don't." I made a face. He had gotten taller and gained a few pounds.

He grabbed my wrist and twisted it. "You left school making me look like the bad guy. Anyone who's still your friend is telling everyone what really happened. That I'm a liar."

"You never loved me!" I shouted, full of rage. "You made my life Hell and I actually thought you liked me, but you didn't." I raised my free hand about to hit him.

His reaction to it before it even happened was to grab it too. He pinned me up against the wall and my hands were above my head. I couldn't move.

"Why don't you tell me what the real truth is then?" a voice came from the door way. I knew it wasn't Stella or L.A.

"Justin?"

Justin's pov

"Justin?" Aubrey looked reliefed.

Whoever the 'heartless asshole' was laughed and looked at me with a sneer.

"Dude, let her go?" I said.

"What are you going to do about it?" heartless asshole asked.

I felt my anger rise up in me. I had to control it but I couldn't.

I punched the guy in the lungs. He staggered back, releasing Aubrey.

I ran to her. "Are you okay?" I held both of her hands. Her wrists were blood red, but not bloody.

"What the hell?" he asked.

"What's your problem?" I asked.

He stood up and glared at me. He kissed Aubrey and walked out. "See you later."

"Who was that?" I asked.

"Colton." She responded. "That's the guy that made me want to kill myself."

I wanted to kill him.

"What was he doing here?"

"I wish I knew."

We sat down and she told me everything about him. Her friends thought that he liked her so she told someone outside of her circle of friends that he liked her and that spread around to him and he said he never liked her and said a bunch of cruel things about her. After that, she felt like an idiot and wanted to die.

I held her hand and looked at her. "What happened after that?"

"My parents found out that I did that, well Kevin's not my dad, but they wanted me gone because I was putting stress on everyone and they knew I really wanted a record deal more than anyone. They sent a video of me singing." She showed me her singing 'She don't like the lights.'

It sent chills down my spine.

"That's incredible." I said.

"I wanted to get out of Ohio as fast possible. I didn't want to spend another second there. I didn't know what I was going to do next if I stayed there."

"You were pretty freaked out after I told you about my dream."

"I was." She admitted.

"But why?"

"It doesn't make sense. You dreaming about me." Her eyes met mine. "Or maybe you're lying to me."

"No, I-"

"Are you trying to make Selena jealous by taking me out for lunch?" she raised an eyebrow.

"No."

"You're lying." She wasn't smiling.

"I'm not," I protested, softly.

"You're just like all of them, Justin. You want attention. You want sympathy and empathy." She traced the designs on her notebook. "You don't have to drag me into all this shit. Its fucked up." Tears sprang into her eyes. "I don't even know if my career is going to make it or not. I have no where to go."

"You could stay with me."

"No thanks. Its not that I don't want to, I just can't do that. Its selfish."

She was afraid of love.

"Look, you really should go now. I have to get to work." She looked up.

I turned around to see people coming into the room.

Aubrey walked in the booth and put on head phones on. She had her notebook.

"What song are you going to record today, Aubrey?" someone asked her, pressing the button to talk to her.

"Not sure." She bit her lip.

"How about Heartbreak?" Dr. Stella Martin asked.

She smiled. "Yeah, that would be great."

They picked out music and she tried to sing along to some of it but shook her head.

"Sorry it doesn't sound right."

"Justin." Someone put their hand on my shoulder. It was L.A. "You can't be here right now."

"But-"

"No buts. That girl needs to be left alone by you. You've done for her already."

He walked me into the hall.

"She doesn't have anywhere to stay. Can she stay with me?"

"The papparazi will find out and then everyone will think you're both together. We can't have that."

"She needs to stay with someone who knows her really well."

"You just met her today."

"I know this sounds crazy, but I had a dream about her this morning. I think God has a plan for me and her."

"You heard her. She doesn't want love right now."

"She never said that," I mumbled.

"Fine. She can stay with you. But if things get too out of control, you'll never see her again."
