A Poem Is A Poem

Pain

Deep drowning pain
Pain so deep its in my vains

I can feel it in my soul
It makes me could
I see it every where I go

Pain in my eyes
Pain in my ears
Pain in the hearts of every soul

But I won't let this pain take me
I say No

There is no pain with in my soul
My soul is pure and warm
There, there is no pain
It is what got away from the cold

Pain can't touch my soul
It is too warm and too bold

My faith helps guide me
My faith takes the pain away
Making me strong and have a hold

I am no longer cold
Faith has put a light within my eyes
I can see the world clearly

Where there is cold there is warmth
Waiting for you to take a hold
