(Gabrielle's POV)

I ran out of the building, lost, confused, and just hurt. He cheated on me... And I just broke up with him and he didn't even chase me. As it became clearer and clearer that he didn't even care about our relationship, my heart hurt more and more. I pushed through crowds of people, until I found my way to a Starbucks. I sat down in a booth, and laid my head against the wall. That really just happened. I went to reach into my pocket, only to realize I didn't have one. My phone, and all my money, were in my purse. Which was back at the studio. That I had just left. I had two options, really. Sit here and pray to God they find me in some freak miracle, or attempt to walk back and find the building again. I took a deep breath, and walked out of my coffee scented comfort zone. The city seemed to have gotten ten times bigger. I began walking in the direction I came from, looking for things that were familiar and might help me find my way. The nasty hot dog stand Nick made fun of, the giant Forever 21... I looked around at my surroundings, and almost cried. I was in Times Sqaure, nowhere near the building the dance class was held. It was getting dark, and the last thing I wanted was to be in New York City, at night, by myself. Panic set in, and the tears started forming faster in my eyes, when I heard his voice. "Gabrielle..." Vinny said. I turned towards him, wiping at the tears on my face with the back of my hand. He looked down at me, his face concerned. I wanted to make a snarky remark, but I was just thankful to see a familiar face. "I, um, know I'm the last person you want to talk to right now.. But I heard what happened, and I suggested we all go out and search for you. You don't even have to talk. Just come with me, and I'll get you to Drea and we can all go home safely." I nodded, and we walked next to each other, all the way back to the building. Drea saw me, and ran to me, embracing me tightly. "Oh my God Gabrielle don't you ever run off like that again you could've been killed are you dumb?!" I stayed quiet, tears still running down my face. Chris came over, and hugged me tight. "Come on, you can ride with me and Drea in my mom's car. You're probably exhausted..." I nodded, and moved from Chris's arms. "One second.." I walked over to Vinny. "Um, I forgot to say. Thanks. I would've been killed without you..." "It's no problem. I'm really sorry about everything. I hope you feel better." He said, awkwardly playing with his fingers. I nodded, and walked back over to Chris. As we were walking over to his mom's car, I saw Nick, standing with Michaela. A pang hit my heart, and I had to bite my lip until it bled in order to stop myself from screaming out in hurt. I guess this is just how it's going to be from now on. Nick is over me. So I should be over him...
