Her POV

After church I got into my comfy clothes. I got my favorite hoodie, skinny jeans, my beanie, and my purple tennis shoes. I put my dog on her leash and told my parents I was taking her for a walk.
When I got there I rang the doorbell and he answered with a sad face. I gave him a hug and asked what was wrong.
"I can't do this..." he answered and it confused me.
"What are you talking about?" I ask.
"We need to break up-" he said and I interrupted him.
"What!? Why!?" I yell and he flinches.
"I can't let you get hurt because we are together. I'm so sorry..." he says and I see a tear go down his cheek. I grab him in a hug and calm him down as he starts crying. I walk in with my dog and close the door. I take my dog off her leash and sit with my boyfriend on the couch.
"Are you sure about this?" I ask him and he shakes his head but pauses and shrugs his shoulders.
"I...don't know. It's what's best for you. I need you to be safe," he says sniffing. I smile.
"And I want what's best for you. You can't let a bully do this to you. We can be together if we want and she can't do anything about it," I say and he looks at me.
"She threatened you. I want to hurt her. But I can't. I need to protect you but I can't unless I'm at school..." he looks down, defeated. I pick up his head so he faces me and lean in. My eyes close and our lips touch. When I pull away I smile and so does he.
"I think I can help with that. You don't need to protect me but I'm glad you want to. I love you V," I say.
"I love you to G," he answers and we kiss again.
