Her POV

Friday came with disaster. He and I had been together the whole week. Holding hands, hugging, an occasional peck on the cheek. ( I need a name for him so I'm gonna call him V. Because I can and it has nothing to do with his name at all. I'm gonna be G and other characters will have letters too.) His sister, T, came up to us on Friday and she looked sad and scared. When we asked what was wrong, she shook her head. Then we saw a girl that was in V's Science class. We'll call her S. S grabbed V by the collar and kissed him. It wasn't a small kiss or a passionate one, it was a forced one. I could tell she liked him. She glared at me while they kissed and when she let go I saw spit. V was gasping for air and S was desperate for more. I grabbed his arm and pulled him behind me. I was stupid, thinking I could stand up to an 8th grader. I was weak. She punched me.
Not wanting to get in trouble I stood up but didn't fight back. She made me back into a wall. The more she hit me the more I wanted to stand up to her. I didn't fight back. I let myself get hurt for V. It got worse. I fell to the ground, blood coming out of my nose and mouth. She started kicking me and I heard my ribs crack. The teachers noticed after a while and I was in pain on the floor. She was kicking me at full force until the teachers yelled at her and gave her a detention. V came over and picked me up. I could barely stand. The nurse asked me how bad it hurt on a scale from one to ten. I said ten.
I threw up multiple times and told the nurse that I heard my ribs crack, and she called the ambulance. I was rushed to the hospital as my family was informed. The only people who went to visit me were my family and V, who made sure that he wasn't there when my family was. I got minor surgery and had to stay in bed rest until the doctors said my ribs were healed enough. It took weeks.

When I finally got back to school, the first thing my boyfriend did was give me a hug and a passionate kiss. I thought that after seeing me go to the doctor, the girl would stop.

   I was wrong...
