The Fire Within Your Shadows

Chapter 1

Jade took a deep breathe as she held the wolf zord in her hands tightly, she walked up to the home of the samurai rangers and slowly opened the door 'this is it Jade. Time for the black ranger of shadows to return' The black haired girl slowly knocked on a door when she heard voices. When it opened there was a girl with blonde hair and blue\green eyes standing there "hi...can we help you" Jade nodded and slipped past the blonde girl "My name is Jade..." She held out the wolf zord "I'm the black samurai ranger" everyone starred at her "That's impossible. The black ranger disappeared centuries ago" Jade looked over to a guy "Kevin....look at what's she's holding. It's the wolf zord" Jade then turned to a blonde haired guy who stood up and walked in front of her "my name is Jayden. I'm the red ranger" Jade smiled the blonde girl walked up to her "I'm Emily the yellow ranger" a girl with black hair and brown eyes spoke up "i'm the pink ranger Mia and the blue ranger is Kevin over there" Another guy walked up to Jade and smiled "names Antonio i'm the golden one of the team also the gold ranger" Jade chuckled at Antonio's sense of humor "all we're missing is the green ranger" the as if on cue the had to be green ranger walked in "speak my name and i shall appear" Jade widened her eyes "Mike?!" Mike looked over at her and grinned "Well well well, look who it is" Jade ran towards Mike and hugged him. Mike hugged her back tightly lifting Jade up a bit "long time no see stranger" Jade laughed 

~Time Skip~

Jade sat in front of her new team, who continued to ask her questions such as, 'how do you know Mike?' replying with 'we went to school together since the 7th grade and have been best friends ever since' and 'how come you waited so long to show up?' she would answer with 'my father wanted to make sure I was ready to face the nighlock' and some even personal questions like 'what's you're favorite song?' she would smile and reply with 'well.....the song I'm writing is one of my personal favorites to be honest' then that stirred the question 'You write songs?' she would nod 'yes, I have my own band...we're just YouTuber's though. But one day we'll be up on the stage and on live TV'. Jayden was the only one who was being quiet, he was leaning against the wall as he watched the rangers get to know their new team mate. He liked her so far, as a friend of course, she was nice, funny, seemed powerful, and defiantly loyal. All the traits a samurai ranger had to have. She looked over and waved, he smiled and waved back. He would never admit this but, he thought  she was beautiful, her black hair would fall without her even trying, her eyes were an unusual blue, a lot of things about her made him think this way. He walked over and sat next to her "welcome to the team Jade" the black ranger smiled softly "glad to be here"
