chapter 30

Stella's pov

It's been a while since I was kidnapped. I get tortured quite often. I haven't broken yet, but I will soon if nobody helps me. My dark hair was starting to get a few grayish streaks from all the stress. I'm nothing more that a sack of skin and bones. My back and legs and covered in new and old wounds. Some healed completely, others still an angry red scab. Most of my wounds are infected. They stick needles in my arms as often as possible.

Alucard's pov

It's been two weeks since Stella disappeared.
We only just got a lead that they might have taken her to Germany. I was ecstatic when the letter when this information came earlier this morning. We are taking a jet to southern Germany in about an hour. When I find the people who hurt my mate, they are gonna pay. Everytime I think about what could be happening to her, I feel a sharp pain in my chest.

Time skip because midterms are making me lazy

After several hours of searching we finally found a nazi hideout.

Stella's POV

I could tell something was going when I was suddenly dragged from my cell and strapped to a metal table. They injected a blue substance into my arm. This one felt different than all the others. It made my blood feel like fire. My skin felt like it was melting off. I started screaming in pain but the quickly gagged me. They seemed panicked. I could feel blood start to come up into my mouth. I choked as it started to clog my throat. I tried spitting it out but the gag stopped me. As this was happening I sensed something I never thought I would again. Alucard. 'Alucard! Please help me! I feel like I'm dying!' I thought in desperation hoping he would hear. Blood started poring from my nose and ears as well. I faintly heard on of the scientists yell something about a serum failure. My vision soon started to go black as the pain dulled. My eyelids got to heavy. As I closed my eyes it felt as though my body was floating in empty space. My last thought was 'is this what dying feels like?'
