I kinda lost the picture of Casey....
----
I wake up groggily with a groan as I hear the horrid noise coming from a horrible invention. The alarm clock.

"Why world why!?" I say in frustration grabbing the damn thing and throwing it across the room, watching it shatter against the wall.

"Casey that's the sixth one this week!" my sister yells I can tell by her tone of voice she's scowling.

"That's okay I hated it anyway!" I yell back with a smug smile on my face.

I close my eyes once more about to drift to sleep when I remembered something very important.

It's my first day in high school.. As a Sophomore!!!

I spring out of my bed. I'm going to be late! Shit.

I get out of bed quickly and sprint to the bathroom.

I grab my phone on the way and check the time since my alarm clock is currently broken in pieces across the room.

6:30 am

I groan. It's so early yet so late. I only have 30 minutes to get ready, better make this a quick shower.

I drag my self to the bathroom and turn on the shower to the perfect temperature.

I quickly take off my clothes and hop in.

Grabbing my vanilla scented shampoo I wash my hair. The warm water relaxes my muscles and I sigh .

"I hope I have a good day." I whisper remembering last year. A stray tear fell down my face but I wiped it away.

I finish up and get out. I dry off and rap the towel around my petite body.
Walking out into my room I walked to my closet.

I quickly put my under clothing and grab a cute white crop top. I usually don't wear anything like this but my sister insisted I wore that for the first day of school.

I rolled my eyes and put it on. I picked out light colored skinny jeans to go with my shirt. I quickly put my black hoodie over and head to my vanity.

I only had fifteen minutes to get ready. I styled my hair in to a ponytail.

"Should I put on some makeup?" I thought internally. I never bothered because my mom said I had something called "natural beauty" I snorted unattractively at the thought.

I shrug and put on just a few swipes of mascara and applied something nude lipgloss.

I look at the time once more on my phone it read 6:45.

I look in the mirror once more and nod in satisfaction. I looked decent.

I grab my phone and book bag and head downstairs.

I'm not really much of a "talker" but I have friends. My sister ... well she's the queen bee of Hamilton High and I'm just the queen bee's sister.

I've always been living in her shadow. I'm more of the read by a fire than a partier. My sister is more of a partier less of a read by a fire type of girl.
