Jaemin's POV

"Jaemin, Jaemin!" I woke up after hearing my name, seeing Renjun hyung.

I looked at the time, seeing that it was just 4 AM.

"Come on, Renjun. School is not early as this..." I said, getting back to sleep.

"M-Mark..." Once I heard Mark hyung's name, I turned to him.

"What happened to Mark hyung?" I said, worried and scared at the same time.

"S-see for yourself..." Renjun hyung said, with tears on his eyes. "I already called the ambulance, they should be here soon..."

Ambulance?

His... condition is bad?

I got out of my room, accidentally stepping on some... shards of glass?

Out of instinct, I looked at the window, which is broken.

No...

Hyung hates heights.

I immediately looked down from the window, not minding the shards that was piercing my feet.

Seeing Mark hyung... on the cement floor, with lots of cuts and a pool of blood.

"Jaemin-ah..." Someone spoke, when I woke up. I looked at the person clearly, seeing that it was Donghyuck.

"Donghyuck-ah... What happened?" I said, suddenly feeling a little drowsy. I looked around the room I'm in, seeing that... I'm in the hospital.

"You fainted after seeing Mark hyung..." He bit his lip, trying to stop his cries. I held his hand reassurely.

"You can cry, Donghyuck..." Then he softly started sobbing, as he held my hand tightly.

"Hyung, I'm scared... W-what if he dies...?" He said, hiccuping inbetween.

"He wont. Hyung's strong." I smiled at him, then I gestured him to come closer to me, as I hugged him.

"Hyung loves us. We love each other. We wont leave voluntarily." I patted his back, as he let out more cries, as he broke the hug and wiped his tears.

"Jaemin... I have something to tell you." He said, as he looked at me.

"Actually... Everyone has been hiding this eversince that accident, it's been hurting my heart seeing you on this condition when you don't even remember anything before." He said, which made me confuse.

What was he going to say?

"Jaemin... You're A---" I suddenly heard a breeze of wind, like something just flew, and a sound that sounds like a thing is getting pierced to a flesh.

Donghyuck's eyes widened, as he looked at me.

"J-Jaemin... Y-you're... A-a..." He started to cough out blood, as I panicked and pressed the emergency button.

"Donghyuck-ah... Donghyuck-ah!!!" I cried, when he uncontrollably started to cough out blood, as his bloodshot eyes looked at me.

"Y-you have to s-survive this.." With every word he said, he pants.

"S-stop talking... It w-would hurt you more!" I said with my voice shaking, even thought I don't even know myself why is he acting like this."

"B-be careful... Especially d-during nights..." He said, then he flashed me a little smile.

"Fighting, hyung..." Then he collapsed on my lap, as I panic, trying to calm myself down.

"LEE DONGHYUCK!" I cried, as I saw the reason why he collapsed.

A bullet went straight to his stomach.

anyways, today was probably the most scariest day of my life...

if you read the author's notes in this book, you may know that im afraid of deaths...

and i almost got into an accident.

it's a good thing that my reflexes acted fast.

after that almost accident, the journey to home really scared me, as i had a little panic attack inside a public tricycle...

but im okay now though

but it was really scary, im going to be attentive from now on ;-;
