Shane's POV
"Shane! Shane! Shelby! Shelby! Wake up right now or else you'll be late for your first day of collage."
A familiar voice shouted out. It surely woke us up, Shelby and I got out of bed turned on the light and realised that it was 7 am. *Sighs* "Why are we awake this early! The collage is ten minutes away!" Both out us shouted. "Connor! Let us sleep, we were editing all night, please!"
We laid head first into our pillows, covered ourselves with our blankets. Then there was a knock on our door, "guys... My new song is finished... Wanna have a listen?"
I look out of my blanket and saw dad holding his laptop, with a cheerful smirk on his face.
Shelby looked up, "YES PLEASE!"
"YEAH PLEASE DAD!" I added.
"Then join us for breakfast, we'll listen to it while we eat, OK?"
We jumped out of bed and head to the bathroom. We brushed our teeth and got on our clothes and headed down to the dinning area.
It was hard to not dance to it, it had an amazing beat and sound and Melanie Martinez's voice was amazing.
"Dad when are you going to make it public?"
"I was thinking Melanie and I should meet up again cause we both did have our doubts about the song, latest by April."
"What about the whole album?"
"I'm trying to finish it by you brithday this year, the latest by January next year."
