It all started when my cat grew wings... I should probably start from the beginning.
Hi. My name is Colin. I'm 14 and I live with my Aunt Leane, my Stepdad Gregory, my little sister Amy, and my cat Fernando. We're not the coolest family on the block: my dad can't keep the same job for two days, Auntie spends all of our money on spas, Amy is the most ANNOYING person ever and me? I don't like humans...just cats. To be honest Fernando is the most normal one in the family...and he's not even human.
It was a Sunday, I was doing my homework when I heard a loud crash. I thought it was just Amy but when I went to see what was going on it was Fernando...and he had wings.
They weren't bird wings...they had scales and shimmered. Fernando looked at me, he had that 'did you bring me food?' look on his face as he glided through the air bumping into things.
I was about to call for dad, auntie, ANYONE but the door flew open and in waltzed a girl in full battle armor. She glared at me, then at my flying cat.
"You're coming with me."
She grabbed me by the shoulder, stroked my cat and the three of us disappeared without a trace.
