Days Like This

"So, kid.  What are you gonna do?"

Adrien shrugged.  What was he gonna do?  He had no one to hang out with, or even talk with.  Everyone was sick.  Even Chloe.  Who he'd never spend time with anyway.

"I have no idea..."

Adrien smiled.

"Wanna go out?"

Plagg groaned.

"Ok..."

Sabine came into Marinette's room with some soup and medicine for her.

"Marinette?  How do you feel?" She asked looking at her daughter laying on the make-shift bed they made so Marinette didn't have to climb up and down so much.

"Like garbage." She muttered, rubbing her eyes.

"I'm boiling..."

Sabine sighed, putting the bowl of soup in Marinette's lap.

"I made you some soup.  Maybe you'll get better sooner?" She suggested, puffing her pillow.

Marinette smiled slightly, shrugging.

"I hope."

"I can't let Chat fight the akuma's all by himself..." Marinette muttered under her breath.

Sabine turned stopped walking towards the trapdoor and looked at her.

"Did you say something?"

Marinette chuckled lightly.

"Nope!"

Chat smiled to himself looking over Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower, letting the cool breeze blow through his short, messy hair.  If only his lady could have been here too.  She would have loved it.

He took out his staff and jumped, letting out a gleefull cheer as he fell closer, and closer towards the ground.  He extended his staff and flew upwards again, landing safely on a nearby roof.  Being alone wasn't always that bad.

His ears twitched as he heard a scream, and his head jerked towards the sound.  Was it an akuma?  No.  It couldn't be.  Not right now.

Chat sighed, extending his baton, going towards the scream he had heard.  He couldn't let the people suffer just beacouse he didn't gave his lady by his side anyways.

Sorry it's short.  It's just a bit hard to write something before the huge plot takes place.  And I've been busy with my Tumblr.  Sorry.

Yeah...  ts4 vampires!  Am I right?
