I didnt realize that I shifted till I looked down and saw paws. I looked over at where Laina was and saw that she passed out. I quickly shifted back and picked her up. I dont even care that I am naked! All I care about is that my baby is ok and that my babies are safe wherever they are. When I put Laina on the bed, she woke up crying. I pulled her in my lap while whispering comforting words to her. When she calmed down she looked up at me. "We got to go and get them." "I know baby. But right now you need to sleep." She nodded and went to sleep. I went downstairs to my office, and called Parker and my third in command, Dennis. They came and stood in front of my desk. "Follow the scents of the person that took my kids. If you find where they are hiding, mind link me. If you find them, capture them and bring them to the dungeons and bring my kids to me." I commanded. They replied with 'Yes Alpha' and quickly organized search parties. I didnt realize how long I was down here trying to find them when my door opened. I didnt look up because I knew it was Laina. She came over to me and turned my chair torwards her. She climbed in my lap and laid her head on my chest. "You should be asleep love." She just snuggled further into me. "I cant sleep without you." I let her fall asleep on me while I continued to work. When I was working, Parker came running in, almost waking Laina. When she heard the door open, her eyebrows knit then she turned into me to wrap around me. "Sorry alpha. But we have found a scent that leads to the border." Well follow it! If there is a rogue, mind link me. If they have my children, take the rogue to the dungeon, and bring me my kids" he nodded and ran out. I took Laina to bed and laid down next to her. She looked so peaceful while she is sleeping.

Our Alpha brought in these two kids for us to watch. I dont think that we should be keeping them here. They should be with their parents. I am basically the pack care taker. I care for the elders and the pups when their parents are on patrol. I look at the two four year olds in front of me. My mate was taking care of the elders while I am taking care of the pups today. These two look so scared, the boy is standing in front of the girl gaurding her protective like while she is standing their taking in every detail. "Hi there." When I speaked, he gave me a death glare. "Stay back! Cause my daddy gonna hurt you if you touch one little hair on pur heads!" He yelled at me. Well he is definately going to be an alpha. "Im not going to hurt you. Im going to help you get back to your mommy." He looked at me skeptically then agreed. "Im Kameron but you can call me Kam and this is my sissy Sky. We alpha Jake West of the Jungle star pack kids." I was shocked that he knew all of that. "Im Cassie My mate Brian is with the elders right now." I shook his tiny little hand that he held out for me. Sky ran up to me crying "I want my daddy!" I knew she was a daddy's girl. Brian came in and saw that the twins were close to me. You got them to like you? Thats great! Now alpha can say that these are his kids!" What?! I have never seen this side of Brian before! He was actually AGREEING with what alpha said?! "What?! Why are you agreeing with her?!" "Because she is right! These kids are the reason that we lost ours! They need to be here. Where they are taught that they should hate their parents pack." Im shocked that he would say these things! "Fine then. If that is how you feel... I Cassandra Black reject you Brian Great as my mate." I watched as he fell down in pain while clutching his heart. I turned and grabbed the kids and ran. Away from this pack, away from my ex-mate, to a new pack, hopefully the Jungle Star pack.
