I woke up face down on the couch with a weight on my back. I turned my head to the side to see what was on top of me. When I turned my head to the left, I just saw blonde hair. I turned to the right and saw my beautiful mate's sleeping face. At first I thought it was some stupid she-wolf that thought she could sleep with me. I carefully lift Laina up and turn onto my back and set her on my chest. I just laid there watching as she slept. I wonder what our future is going to hold. Hopefully with a few more kids. Right now we live in the pack house with most of the members. I quickly mind link Parker. He quickly began the plans for a project Im wanting to work on for Laina. I didnt notice that she woke up till I heard her cute laugh. I looked down at her to see why she was laughing. "Now you look at me." She laughed again. "Sorry baby. I was mind linking Parker." "Anything I should know about?" "Nope. Because its gonna be a suprise." I smirked while she pouted and stuck her bottom lip out. I leaned down and bit her bottom lip. Soon enough we were in a passionate make out session when the kids ran into the living room. We pulled away and sat up and looked at the kids. "Daddy?! Why were you eating mommy?!" Kameron screamed. We laughed at how cute he was. "Because she tastes good." I smirked at Laina and she looked shocked that I told him that. She tried to elbow me in the chest. I caught her elbow and pulled her in my lap. "And what do you think you are doing Mr. West?" "Im not doing anything Mrs. West." I smirked when I saw her blush. "Im still Collins because you havent even asked me to marry you." "Well maybe I will. But not now, soon though" she blushed even more and hid her face in my chest. "Mommy?" She looked over at Sky. "Yes baby?" "Can we go get ice cweam?" She looked at me asking for approval. "Sure if daddy can come." Both sky and Kam shot up and yelled "YAY!"

"Now is our time to strike. They are going out for ice cream. We can strike soon." "Good. We will attack while Jake is out. Since we have his girlfriend and apparently he still wants her, he will surrender his pack to us. Then Vampires will own the largest pack in America.

We were at the ice cream parlor with the twins when I suddenly got a mind link from Parker 'Jake! Vampires attacking!' I quickly stood up and rushed Laina, Sky and Kameron into the car. When we get to the pack, a couple houses were already on fire. And there were vampires and werewolves fighting. We rushed the twins inside with my mom and headed out to fight. After a couple hours, we were winning. All of a sudden, I hear a howl of pain. I know that howl anywhere. Laina. I quickly run and find her on the ground with a wolf on top of her about to kill her. I ran forward and attacked her. Before I killed her, I saw who it was. It was one of the she- wolfs that worked in the nursery. I mind linked Dennis to take her to the dungeon while I helped Laina. I ran over to her and checked her over. She was holding her stomach and blood was coming out in between her legs. I lifted her shirt up past her stomach and saw a huge gash where her hand was. I quickly but carefully picked her up and ran to the pack hospital.

It has been 2 hours since we got here. I have been standing outside her door since. I was pacing the floor when her door opened. I quickly faced it. Doctor Henry came out and walked up to me. "She is fine. We got that gash stitched up." I sighed in relief "but, your little one didnt make it" now I was confused. "Little one? No our kids are ok. They are with my mom." "No. Laina was pregnant" I couldnt believe what I was hearing. Laina was pregnant. And I didnt even know. "She is awake now if you want to see her." Once I heard those words, I ran into the room.

I saw her sitting there looking really confused. When she saw me, she looked relieved. I ran over to her and carefully hugged her. When I pulled away from her, I looked down. "Why didnt you tell me you were pregnant?" I looked up at her and saw confusion "Jake? Im not pregnant." She seriously didnt know she was pregnant? I started to cry. "Baby, you were pregnant. But when you were cut, the baby died." She started to cry and she hugged me. I sat on her bed and pulled her in my lap, being careful of her stitches. That was how we spent the evening, grieving over over our lost baby.
