🚫Yuichiro's POV🚫

I hear my alarm going off and force myself to get out of bed. I curse myself for setting my alarm so early as I pull myself out of bed. I don't want to get out of bed but I have to, no matter how much it will hurt. We just moved to a new town, and today is my first day at a new school. A private school called Seraph Private Academy. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower trying to be as quiet as possible. I didn't want to wake my mother or else I would be in serious trouble.

I threw on my new school uniform and grabbed my bag for school. I walked to the door and put on my shoes. Afterwards, I carefully opened the door and then quietly shut it. I waited a few seconds by the door, waiting for my mom to yell at me for being too noisy. When the yelling didn't come I ran to end of the driveway and sighed with relief at making it out of the house without a sound. I looked up at the house from the driveway and sighed again.

"Just two more years until I can escape from this house and never come back." I mumbled to myself as I began walking towards school. I looked around at the other students walking as well. A few students gave me a weird looks and I was a bit confused about why, but assumed it was about them having never seen me before. This was a new school after all.

After I arrived at school, I looked at my piece of paper and made my way into the building to find my locker. I changed my shoes and put my stuff in my locker and then made my way to the office. "Excuse me. My name is Yuichiro Amane. I'm a new student and I was wondering if I could get my schedule." I asked a light brown haired woman with brown eyes.

"Ah yes. I'm Ms. Hanayori, your secretary." She smiled at me with a warm and welcoming smile before looking at me with a concerned face. "I know it's not my place to ask, but.... What happened to your cheek?"

"Huh?" I pulled out my phone and looked at my bruised cheek on the screen. Shit. "I-I got in a fight yesterday. I-I guess I forgot to take care of it."

"I see..." Ms. Hanayori stared at me for a few seconds before handing me my schedule. "Be careful next time, Yuichiro. You can stop by the nurse and have the nurse take a look at it, if you want."

"I'll stop by the nurse before class then. Thank you Ms. Hanayori." I said as I quickly walked away. I'd completely forgotten about my hurt face. I made a mistake! Mom is going to kill me! I kept walking feeling uneasy and internally kicking myself for making such a stupid mistake.

I kept walking down the hallways for awhile until I finally spotting the infirmary. I walked towards the door, but stopped once I saw a brown haired boy with a few older students. I thought it was nothing at first until one of them slammed their hand against the locker next to the boys head. "I told you to get us drinks and a few snacks. Aren't we friends?" The boy whimpered a bit at the display of power used against him.

"Y-yes." The boy stuttered in a barely audible voice. The guy backed away from the brown haired boy, who was terrified with tears in his forest green eyes. He looked down at the ground.

"Just leave the kid alone." I found myself saying as I stood near them. "You're not his friends. You're just bullying him and forcing him to do your dirty work."
