A/N: Heyo, everyone!!! Almost forgot that it was Monday... Hehe... I didn't forget though... Almost did... But still didn't... My birthday is actually coming up soon. I'm a little excited. :3

Author-chan??? This chapter is so short. What happened????

Well, I forgot it was Monday... It's nearly midnight... I was reading back on what I wrote for this chapter and it made absolutely no sense... Like I probably wrote this chapter while sleep deprived. This was supposed to be the chapter where Yuu FINALLY runs away.

Couple little problem though... Yuu is in a wheelchair cause he was shot in the leg... And Mika is still in the hospital... Plus, I thought of like 7 other ideas and other shit I wanna add to the damn chapter. So, since is the only part of the chapter that actually made sense, I'm publishing this as PART ONE.

Please don't hate me too much. Part 2 will be published tomorrow. There's just not enough time to do it today, and I'm like mega tired...

Expect part 2 tomorrow. Thank you for understanding.

🚫Yuichiro's POV🚫

Today, I spent the entire day by Mika's side. It was actually rather fun. We talked and joked around while playing kindergarten games to reteach Mika some words. I can tell it's really hard on him, but we're doing the best we can.

Mika is always smiling when I'm around, but sometimes, I can catch him looking sad whenever he thinks I'm not looking. He tries really hard to not upset me, or show how much he is actually hurting. He's suffering quietly, and I can only watch him.

Mika should've just let me get shot. He should've just let me die. Mika shouldn't have to suffer like this. This was truly all my fault. The only way I could atone for this sin is by staying by his side and helping him get better.

Days had passed since the accident. Sadly, a bunch of bad things have happened. My mother was released from holding. She was proclaimed innocent even though everyone knew that she caused this. There just wasn't enough evidence to convict her.

I haven't been able to see Mika at all because numerous officers were trying to get me to talk and testify against my mother. I've been too scared to even speak to them. My mother was capable of doing anything.

"Please leave... I wanna get some rest..." I told an officer and rolled over in bed.

"I'll just wait here until you wake up. Maybe if you sleep on it, you'll change your mind." He said and began to play with his phone.

I sighed and closed my eyes. I would never be left alone until I gave in. That now became very painfully clear. I just wanted to be with Mika and relax from all this chaos. It just wasn't fair. I only wanted to be alone with Mika.

"Yuichiro." I was startled awake by a female voice. "Get up. We're going home." I opened my eyes to see my mother standing next to me. She had a soft smile on her face. A smile that didn't reach her eyes at all.

"We're leaving...?" I asked rather timidly.

"Yes... The doctor said that you should be fine to go home. Besides, I've been proven innocent, so I can see you again now. Aren't you happy?" She asked me. Her voice had a hidden undertone to it. It was obvious that she was going to beat the living shit out of me.

"Yes, mother... I'm ready to go..." I told her. There was no use in fighting her. Either way, I'd be forced home. "Can I say 'Goodbye' to Mika...?" I asked her.

"No. We're going the second I get the paperwork back." She said.

"Yes, mother..." I said and waited with her. We got the paper work rather quickly. A bit too quickly for my tastes. I didn't want to go home with her, but it's not like I could go anywhere else.

Running away...

Would only lead...

To more trouble...
