As we make our way down to street we stare at our hands as it gets closer together and suddenly begins to touch. He grabbed my hand when a boy started to look at me.
When we enter the party there were lots of people in the roomed but assumed a few were upstairs in the rooms.
"What's up Maddy and Benny ".
"Nothing much we just came".
"Wanna drink".
Before I can even talk Benny answers for me.
" No we won't be drinking tonight".
Benny goes wonder off into the crowd but before he left he made sure everybody knew we weren't gonna drink so no one even tried. I walk around this unknown person's dwelling, I then see suddenly see Sofia sitting on someone's lap holding a red cup she seemed drunk and the guys in that area kept touching her. My feminism side completely comes out. I walk over.
"STOP!".
"And who exactly are you?".
I grabbed Sofia making her stand up on her two feet. I really wasn't in the mood to go home smelling like beer because of her i take her upstairs to try to find her a room. opening all the doors I kept walking in on foolish 15-18 year olds making dumb decisions. I finally find a clean room.
"I'll be right back".
" I wan--na uh--- hu--- "
Next thing i know all of the intoxicants came all out of her landing on the floor.
"Great just great".
I run to find a bathroom I walk into one and even that room was being occupied my foolish 15 year olds I grab toilet paper and get out of there as soon as I can I felt angry and annoyed at the same time.
" stop just stop don't touch me" I hear as I get closer to the room Sofia was in.
I quickly walk in to see a jock trying to touch her and by my surprise he was sober.
"Get the hell off of her you perv".
He starts walking towards me trying to get at me I push him back using all my strength. Sofia runs to get help but literally just leaves me there.
All I could think about was grabbing something and hitting home but I was cornered with nothing in my reach. I move more to left while next to a lamp.
"Clatter!!" I look on the floor to see the jock knocked out Sofia walks in the room.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU". She says running to the floor beside him
"I JUST SAVED YOUR DAMN LIFE MAYBE YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL YOU ALMOST GOT RAPED!!".
"That's my boyfriend you illiterate worthless one night stand".
"One night stand?".
"I DO NOT STUTTER, Benny just wanted to sleep with you anyway he doesn't even like you".
"HE'S NOT LIKE THAT".
" well don't say I told you so when he goes and try's it with you".
I stand there with all adrenaline running to my brain I instantly ball my fist.
" your worthless no one likes you that's why you sit by yourself and you were just invited because Benny wouldn't come if you didn't you should've stayed home no one needs you here". She says checking the jocks pulse
"Your lucky he's alive and I didn't kill him and I've should have let him take your virginity". I say while gritting my teeth
I storm out and run downstairs I don't see Benny and I obviously don't care. I open the door forgetting my jacket I quickly walk back in the grab it I see it laying on the couch as I'm walking out I hear Benny calling behind me but I continue to walk as if I was dead I'm almost home and can still hear him I walk into my house and slam the door and lock it behind me I walk instantly walk into my bathroom remembering those exact words.
"Your worthless". "One night stand". "Benny doesn't love you".
" He just wants to hit and run".
I take out my half up do and put all my hair in one messy ponytail i wash my face and look up in the mirror to see that my eyes were bloody red I then remember that my mom said she'll be working late tonight. I go by the door and kick off my shoes. The house phone started to ring I run to it thinking it's my mom but instead it was Benny.
"Hey babe why'd you take off like that?". He says so normal like there was nothing wrong
"Babe?". I say angrily
" yea what's wrong you seem angry".
"OBVIOUSLY I'm angry you jerk you really thought you were about to try to have sex with me lemme tell you something you should already know how I feel about teen sex you are not about to think I'm some slow girl you can just bang and run I'm very educated and don't have time for bs".
The line goes silent. This boy really hung up on me.
"Knock knock ".
"Who is it". I say as I tippy toe to the door.
"The guy you're mad at ".
My side that loves Benny motions my body to open the door and takes control of my body but the side that's fed up and hurt takes over and starts to talk Benny comes in and locks the door behind him .
" what do you want" I say as he walks in.
"You I don't know why that's so difficult to achieve ".
" because I'm not any other--".
"I know your special but why are you mad now?". He goes to sit on my couch and pats the seat next to him but I sit across from him
" it's Sofia".
"Okay. what did she do".
"She told me everything about how you just want me to have sex and you don't love me and that I'm worthless and ugly and a one night stand ".
"Well you should know that your not and i love you and would never uh do that but I have some thing to tell you also "he says as his eyes tear up and get red
"Thank you and okay what is it?".
"Um ".
