Your POV

I was walking through the village of Moonlake hand-in-hand with B/F/N. We have been together for only a couple of months but we are happy. "Hey Y/N are you happy with us in a relationship?" He asked. What a weird question to ask. Did he think that I wasn't happy?
"Of course I'm happy. Why would you ask that?"
"I just wanted to know."
"Do you think that-" I was interrupted by a large boom. The village was under attack. B/F/N and I ran to the gates as fast as we could. When we got to the gates I saw an army of Okasis (I know I did not spell that right. I am so bad at spelling so deal with bad spelling😄). I started to panic. Us and Okasis used to be allies until today. Since my father was the lord I should know why Okasis is mad at us, but I don't. Then once I got to my dad at the top of the gates. "I said I will not give up any of my villagers or my daughter!" Father yelled. Why would Zane want me or any villagers? "Fine of you want to have it the hard way." Zane yelled back. The Okasis army blew a hole in the wall. "y/n u want you to run away try to find a new village." B/f/n said while fight a Okasis guard. I knew that this might be the last moment I have with him. I may not see him ever again. If I was to run out of Moonlake then I have to go fast. It also does not help that Moonlake is such a big village. "What will happen to you?" I asked in a panic.
"It does not matter what happens to me. I am not just your lover, but your guard and I will not let you die. RUN NOW!" He yelled. I did as he told me to. As I am running I see Okasis stab a child right in front of me. Dead bodies where everywhere. I ran right past Zane. Then everything went dark.

B/f/n POV
Letting her out of my sight is the last thing I wanted to do. I wanted to grab her hand and run out of the village. But I could not. I am a guard and it is my job to protect those in need. I yelled at y/n to run and get to safety. She did what she was told and ran out of my sight. I shed a tear as she ran. As I am fighting a guard a different guard came up behind me and held me down. Then he dragged me to where they were holding guards of Moonlake. "Where is the lords daughter y/n? If you do not tell me then I will kill you." Zane yelled at us. I tried to loosen their grip but they were way stronger than me. I wish that I could have helped her. Then she would still be here with me. "Zane I heard that this one" the guard nudged me "is her lover"
" then we will take him hostage. We will say that if she does not agree to marry me then we will kill him." Zane said back. Wait, does he want to marry y/n? I will not allow it she is mine. Plus she can't fight back I have not taught her how to fight yet. I am an idiot! I never should have let her go. I should have lead her out of the village. I hope she is okay. Then the guard holding me down knocked me out.

Zane POV
Y/n will be mine. She will love me she has no choice. "Zane I heard that this one is her lover." My head guard told me while nudging the man in front of him. Perfect we will threaten to kill him unless she does not give her hand to me. I told him the plan in silent but I'm pretty sure that her lover heard it. Then I knocked the kid out. I stared to carry him to the the wagon when one of my guards brought back a unconscious y/n. "Why the hell would you knock her!?" I yelled at the guard. Sometimes these guards are useless. They should know not to knock the love of my life. "She would not have come if you just asked her!" The guard said. Then I stabbed him. Y/n fell on the ground. I picked her up bridal style and carried her to my horse. Of course I felt it in front of the gates so I have to carry her across the village. I mean I don't mind this just as long as she does not wake up and try to run. "Did you load her ex-lover in the wagon?" I asked the head guard.
"Sir how do you know that she will love you? I mean of course she will still love b/f/n if he is still alive. Would it just be easier if we kill him now?"
"I have to ask him some questions to ask him." I said as I look down at y/n's peaceful face. "Now get out of my sight." The guard runs away as fast as he could. She looks so cute when she is sleeping I thought to myself. I put her on my horse then I got on behind her. Then we head off to Okasis. Lucky my brother Garroth ran away and so did my other brother. I killed my own father and I don't know where my mother is. So I have the whole castle to myself. This will be fun.

Hey guys it's Beth, I hoped that you liked the first chapter. I will be updating more. Just a warning I get lazy at most time so it will take time. Just don't get mad at me. Plus I need to think of ideas so again this will take some time. Anyway I have to tell you that I will have many other books in the future so look forward to that.
