'I did it... I actually did it!' Dianne couldn't believe it. She changed her story, and was talking to Zoe, the girl she loved so much, the girl she wanted to protect. Zoe was also in a state of disbelief, but for another reason. Did her book just talk to her? Not vocally but the dialogue changed, and the rest of the book was empty. Was this for the new words that would appear just as those had?
"Who are you?" Zoe had to know which character it was, or if it was the book itself. More words appeared on the page... "Oh, I didn't introduce myself... I'm Dianne." Zoe couldn't believe this. She was talking with her favorite character from her favorite book!
Zoe began to wonder if she was asleep. That would explain everything... "this is a dream, isnt it?" The sentences once again changed on the next page. "This is real, like you." Dianne assured Zoe the is was, in fact, not a dream.
"...but how?" Zoe couldn't believe this.
"I don't know, and I'm having trouble believing it as well..." came the reply on the page.
