It had been a few weeks since I told Optimus. Boy, have things changed. Everyone knows how the Prime is. Now that he knows I am carrying, he has changed.

No matter who is near me, he becomes defensive. If I hesitate in the slightest, he orders me to the berthroom for recharge.

To tell the truth, its getting on my last nerve, as the humans say. Speaking of which, Lennox and I are talking about Optimus's behavior.

"He needs to chill." I growl, rubbing my bulging stomach plating.

Lennox smiles and shakes his head. I growl at him and he raises his arms in defense.

"I am glad you find humor in this."

"I don't, but I do. I also understand how the Prime feels. I got to see my baby girl. And I became defensive. Its an instinct all males have, to protect their mate and unborn offspring. He will be this way for a while, until your twins are born, but then he should go back to normal."

I nod, but then my optics narrow.

"Should? He should go back to normal?"

The human shrugs and walks off. I sigh and settle my self on a crate, before hearing pedesteps that I recognize.

"I am fine, Optimus. Stop worrying over me." I say, and feel a sharp pain.

"Alright, I lied. Help me up?" I ask, offering my servo.

The Prime chuckled and pulled me up. Immediately, the pain ceased. I vented but snuggled up against the mech's chest.

"One minute, you say your fine. Then you do this... Make up your mind femme." He said, his optics brightening with amusement.

I roll my optics and walk off. Well, more like waddle but hey! What can I possibly do about it? I still haven't gotten used to it yet.

"Livewire, can you come to the Medbay?" Ratchet hollers.

"Yeah, be there in a few!" I shout back, then cringe.

"Ooh, bad idea." I mutter.

I head off to the Medbay and hear footsteps behind me. I turn to see Lennox and Epps following me. I mutter something in my own language and step into the Medbay.

"What did you need me for doc?" I ask.

When Ratchet looks to me, I frown.

"What?"

"Livewire, there is a chance your sparklings will be coming within the next week." He says.

I sit down on a medberth, in shock. I still had three months to go. Or so I thought.

"But...but I thought that they were mature enough yet!" I exclaim.

"Well they are now. So I want you to stay here. I need to keep a close eye on you alright?"

I nod and lay back. I was happy, yet scared. But then again, I am going to be a new mother. I vent heavily and close my optics. I guess it was a good thing we had chosen names when we did.
