Chapter 6 - Audition

(they are 15 now)

Brittany's POV

Today Trev and I were auditioning for a TV show called The Next Step. It is a new show starting, a children's, reality-drama, dance series.  They are looking for kids around our age to audition for some of the dancers. There are 4 audition rounds and then a pilot where they decide who plays who. (I don't really know what happened at auditions so I made it up!) 

It is a saturday and I stayed around Trev's house last night. We got ourselves ready after getting up at 6:00am, packed some spare clothes, water and some food so we would get to the audition on time which was 7:00am. On the way there Deborah kept wishing us luck saying we would be fine, but I was really nervous.

Trevor's POV

My mum was driving Britt and I to this 'The Next Step' audition this morning and I could see that Britt was nervous and to be honest I was to but I had to stay strong for Britt "You nervous B" "YES, off course I am" she says with worry "hey, no need to worry you will do great, you are an incredible dancer and you will do fine" I say to try and calm her down "Thanks Trev" she says whilst resting her head on my shoulder, with my arm round her in the back of the car.

After a long drive, we arrive at the studio, however Britt was nearly asleep on my shoulder. We got inside, signed in and found a empty spot in the corner of the room where we put down our stuff and where my mum would be seated for the day. Britt put down her bags and took of her joggers and jumper so she was in her dance clothes. I did the same. I was wearing ...

this outfit which her mum bought especially for this audition as she couldn't make it. Britt looked great in it.

It was now lunch time (12:00pm) and we had just finished the second round which we both made it through. Me and Britt joined my mum and ate some food. It was then time for the third round.

We danced and both made it to the final round. I then danced first in the 4th round and at the end added in an extra flip but not just an ordinary flip one off the wall. Everybody clapped after my performance and I was really proud of myself. It was then Britt's turn and she took the dance floor she did a mash-up of pointe and hip hop which I helped her choreograph. She finished it amazingly and she hit every move she for sure has got a roll!

Brittany's POV 

After my finally performance I feel great! Everyone has now finished dancing so me and Trev thought we would go and introduce ourselves to some of the finalist. We started talking to a girl named Victoria who was bit younger than me and a boy called Isaac. We then here that they are about to announce the winners so we make our way over to Deborah.

"We would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who auditioned if you didn't get the part always try, try again. Anyway our new cast is...

the list went on and on because only ten of these people would be A-Troupers.

and then my name was not read out :(

"HOLD ON, HOLD ON, CAN I GET EVERYONES ATTENTION PLEEAASSEEEE! sorry everyone seems to be that we missed Ms. Brittany Raymond of the list!"

Thats when I was happy I ran into Trev's arms and we kissed. It was short but a cute, passionate one. "Well done B, we did it" "Yeah we are gonna be on TV" and then he re-joined our lips again.

We got home back to Trev's and had some dinner. I then rang my mum to tell her the news, she was really happy for me.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow, to audition for each part. I hop me and Trev get A-Troupe characters!
