Have you ever thought about life and how amazing it is for some while for others it never will be. Well I'm one of those people, the ones whose lives will never be amazing, just a living nightmare. I'm a freak and that's exactly how everyone sees me and treats me, nothing more and nothing less. Even my parents are a little uneasy with the way I am. My names Jessabel Pagan, I'm 17 years old with black straight hair, pale skin, and average height. You're probably wondering why I'm a freak right? Well my eyes change depending on my emotions, I can control peoples emotions around me and if I come in contact with anyone I can take away any negative emotions like sadness or anger. Messed up part is, while they walk away happy I'm stuck with all their negativity. But no body really knows all this( except for my family ), they just see a girl who avoids everyone, wears dark glasses (my parents paid off a doctor to fake an eye condition) and covers herself from head to toe. I even wear gloves to avoid as much contact with people as possible. All this labeled me as a complete freak in my town.
There's only one good thing about being the way I am. I can communicate with animals, not with words but with my emotions. And I prefer them to actual people. They have simple needs, thoughts, and emotions. Eat, protect, survive, simple and easy.
"KNOCK, KNOCK." My thoughts were interrupted by my brother yelling from outside my door. " I'm coming in. You better be decent" My older brother, Damian, walked in holding a cupcake with a candle on it. Did i forget to mention today was my birthday.
"Happy birthday to YOUUUU. Happy birthday to YOOUUU......The end, now eat your cake!"
" Cupcake" i corrected him. My brother was my best friend, my only friend. He knew all my secrets and still treated me like a normal person. Me and my brother looked a lot alike. He had black hair cut short and neat, pale skin, but he was tall and had one eye color, they were a beautiful ocean blue, and he was built.
" It has the word cake. SOOoo... Eat. Your. Cake. But before you do, you have to make a wish."
He placed the cupcake in front of me, as I blew out the candle I wished for my life to change, for something amazing to finally happen to me. Little did I know some wishes do come true.
I know it's short but it's my first time sharing my stories still not sure about it....well tell me what you think good or bad I'd love to hear what you guys think it's the only way to improve. be honest I really don't mind.
