Grace smiled as she ran to the wall. Once she made it to there she came to halt and stared at the black wall up and down. How can i get through? She thought. Arthur caught up and stood beside her catching his breath. "You....run...fast!" Grace smirks at his response but doesn't bother to say anything. Belaire soon caught up and straight away started to yell. "You are crazy! There's nothing over here! And we can't even get past this!"
Grace smiled when she looked at Belaire. "I told you, i'll find a way. Like...." She trailed off. There! Her gaze landed on a cave system in the rock. She smirked as she glanced to Belaire. She then headed over to the cave system. "This way! There's a cave." Arthur huffed as he leaned up and followed Grace to the cave. Belaire groaned and stuck a cigarette in her mouth and lit it as she followed.
The three stood at the outside of the cave, has this always been here? They were sure they knew this coast like the back of their hand. Arthur broke their silence with a simple; "Huh." Belaire looked at the cave confused. "Okay, this has never been here before." Grace just nodded. "Never....but that just gives us more reason to go in it!" Arthur looked at the cave cautiously. "Yeah....but we don't even know where it leads! What if there's scary bats in there?! Or even a group of robbers waiting at the other end for us?" Belaire and Grace just looked at him blankly. Arthur looked at them. "E-eh? Belaire why are you looking at me like that? You don't even want to go in!"
Grace then smiled. "As my old pop said, 'Furchtlos sein und weitergehen!'" (German for; Be fearless and go on) Belaire groaned. "Yeah, yatah yatah grandpa's saying yatah yatah. Why do you even want to see this lighthouse anyway?" She did air quotes on the word Lighthouse. Grace looked at her. "Because! Don't you think this is a bit strange? There's a lighthouse that we have never seen before, and a cave? Little odd! Now enough chit-chat i'm going in!" And with that Grace disappeared into the dark cave and left her friends looking into the cave unsure of what to do.
Arthur groaned. "Here goes nothing! I'm coming Grace!" He then ran into the cave after Grace. Belaire groaned. "Do my friends have ZERO boundaries?!? Like seriously!" Belaire then stomped into the cave after them.
The dark cave echoed with the sound of footsteps. The trios eyes soon adjusted to the long, dark cave as they made their way across. None of them dared to say a sound as they were too afraid to disturb the cave. A light was soon visible and the three sped up. What did they see at the end?
