I woke up in the morning to the smell of delicious chocolate chip pancakes cooking. I could smell a few other foods in the air, too, but I couldn't tell exactly what they were.
I yawned, stretching my arms out aboved my head and I slowly blinked. My eyes started adjusting to the light and I chuckled a bit, loving how bright the sun was today.
I turned my head to glance at the clock, checking what time it was.
"8:15" I read outloud.
I yawned again and stood up.
I didn't plan on doing anything today, so I just stayed in pajamas. I walked out of my room and yawned again, going towards the kitchen. I sniffed the air and then walked in, watching my dad as he cooked breakfast for us.
"Mmmmm.." I mumbled, "pancakes."
My dad laughed softly and I could see a smile appear on his face.
"Yup! Your favorite. Chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, french toast, and orange juice."
I sat at the table and smiled.
"Yum" I said. "Are we gonna be getting some more stuff from the truck to put in the house today? Kind of empty."
"Yeah," dad replied, "today is gonna be a pretty busy day. In fact, I think it's gonna be a couple weeks or so that will be filled with business."
I nodded, resting my head on the table.
"And," he went on, "gotta fund us both a job. Gotta get you into school. Have to get us a new doctor, etcetera."
"I don't wanna go to school." I replied with a speed I didn't know I had.
"What? Why..?" Dad turned and looked at me as he put some pancakes on a plate.
"I just don't... I'm scared. Besides, I don't really get along well with people.. You know this. I'd rather be homeshooled.."
"You won't even tr-"
"No. I want to be homeschooled. And that's that.." I sighed quietly, feeling bad for sounding slightly rude.
"Alright.." Dad nodded and finished getting our breakfast onto the plates. "I won't force you."

We finished breakfast and I took care of the dishes.
After a while of letting our breakfast settle, my dad and I drove to a small store and bought a few things:
A bunch if rockstars, some food for dinner, and a few other things.
When we got home we both opened a rockstar and started drinking some of it. Then it was time to get to work.
I helped my dad get two couches in the living room. Then we put a few screw in the wall to hold up our flatscreen TV, and I plugged in all the wires.
We got a few pillows and put them on the couches, then I got the giant fluffy carpet we had and put it in the living room.
The living room floor already had carpet but the carpet was rough and I didn't like it.
After a while of setting up the living room, dad left to go find a health care plan and I was left alone at home.
I was sitting at the table in the kitchen, which had a back yard door to it, and was reading a book when somebody came up behind me and wrapped their arms around my waist.
"Hi, Jeff," I blushed.
He kissed my neck and I couldn't concentrate on the book anymore, so I set it down.
"Good girl.." He whispered, which sent a small shiver down my spine.
I got up and turned to look at him.
"How'd you get in here?" I asked.
Jeff pointed at the back door, which was unlocked.
"Oh" I shrugged.
"Anyways, whatcha want?"
"I wanna show you something.." He smiled.
"Oh? Okay," I put the book away and stretched a bit.
"Let me get dressed first," I went in my room and Jeff started walking in.
"Ah ah ah.." I chuckled and shook my head. "Out~"
Jeff stuck his tongue out at me then smiled, stepping out of the room.
I got dressed and then when I walked out, Jeff took my hand and led me outside, across the street, and into the woods.
When we got there, I saw a beautiful cabin with aesthetic lights. It blended in so well with the trees that I had only barely realized that it existed.
"This is our hideout," Jeff said.
"In the woods.." I replied with a smile.
