'Thoughts'

It was early in the morning and Hayato was infront of the Sawada residence, waiting for his precious sky.

'When was the last time I did this for Juudaime?' Hayato asked himself, a huge smile covering his face. He was ecstatic to see his boss again. 'I'll make sure, as your storm and right-hand man, to complete my job and free you from that seal that tortures you by preventing you to express the emotions you so wnat to release.' He thought, determined to help his sky in any way he could.

Hayato was still lost in thought when he heard the door open, snapping out of it when he saw Ienari and Nana. Ienari was busy chatting his mother's ear off about something irrelevent (in Hayato's opinion) but once he saw him he immediately hid behind Nana. However he jumped away from her after realizing how 'uncool' that was and composed himself, though he was still shivering like crazy. He was terrified of Hayato after remembering the beat down he suffered the day before. While Ienari was (unsuccesfully) trying to hide his fear, his mother just smiled and greeted Hayato, pretending to not notice her son's strange reaction the boy in front of her.

"Ara... I wasn't expecting guests. Are you one of Ie-kun's friends?" Nana asked curiously, wondering why someone would visit so early in the morning.

"I'm Gokudera Hayato and no, I'm here for him." Hayato stated then pointed at Tsuna, who was standing right behind them and just staring blankly at Hayato.

"WHAT?!! You're here for my lifeless brother?! Why!!!" Ienari yelled, shocked that anyon ewould actually willingly become friends with his lifeless sibling.

"I have already told you many times; don't call your brother that!!" Nana warned then looked at at Hayato, confused.

Hayato looks at her and smiles gently. Nana understands the meaning of the message and smiles back, leaving Ienari completely lost as to what just happened.

"Thank you. I'm very grateful that there is someone else who is willing to help him now as well but may I ask why? Why are you doing this? Most people just turn their backs and ignore the situation." She asked, happy yet curious as to why he would do something like that for someone he barely even knew.

"I am doing this because it is my duty to do so and I hold great respect for Juudaime. Rest assured that I will do my best to protect him." Hayato declared in a serious voice yet was also filled with devotion and loyalty.

"Thank you very much!" Nana thanked, surprised by the strange teen's answer yet glad that her precious Tsu-kun now has someone else to help him and, more importantly, protect him.

Tsuna, who was watching the whole conversation, passes them both and exits the house. Hayato followed and walks beside him while Ienari was just left alone to stand where he was.

'Why the hell is he following someone like Lifeless-Tsuna?! I'm way better than him! What does he see in him any way?!' He thought angrily, remembering what Reborn told him during the conversation they had the night before.

Flashback

His injuries tended to and bandaged, Ienari was in deep thought, thinking about his humiliating defeat.

'That guy's strong....maybe I can get him to join me. I need some powerful subbordinates, not like those pathetic lackeys I have. Either way there's no way he'll refuse since it's me asking.' He thought.

Reborn, who read his thoughts, frowned.

"Gokudera Hayato is already loyal to Tsuna. Even if he wasn't he would never join you in the first place, Baka-Ie."
