SHARNA POV

I walked into the break room of the studio and found Val sitting at the table and staring at his phone.

"Hi Val." I said

No answer. His face was glued to his phone and his eyes were very stoic. I grabbed a water from the fridge and sat down across from him.

"What's wrong babe?" I said pulling his phone away.

"It's Laurie," he sighed.

"Did you guys have a rough day of rehearsal."

"No, not at all. She just was talking about this guy,"

"Ooh, nuggets got a crush. Who is he?"

"Alex Smith. He was a swimmer at the olympics. I just don't want her getting hurt, you know?"

"Someone's being a protective brother," I said poking him, "but Val, she is 16 and her parents allow her to date. You should let her go."

"I know, but I love her so much and I don't want anyone to play her."

"I know Val. Hey, you don't even know if they are going to go on a date yet."

"Yeah you're right. I should probably get back to rehearsal. Thanks Shar," he said squeezing my hand.

"You're welcome love."
