My name is Hannah. I was born March 14th, 2000 in Pensacola.I spent about 7 years in a small town about 30 minutes from Pensacola, called Navarre. It's one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, but that isn't where this story takes place. Unfortunately I had to leave Florida when my parents joined the ARMY. I say unfortunately, but leaving was one of the best things that happened to me and my family.
In the 1st grade I moved to Augusta, Georgia for about a year, then back to Florida for the summer, and then I moved somewhere I had never heard of before.A big city on the western end of Texas- El Paso. This is where the story really starts.
I moved to El Paso when i was about 7 years old. I spent most of my life there. From 2nd grade through 5th grade I went to the same elementary school, Hughey Elementary School. In 6th grade I moved to the other side of town and went to a middle school called Jane A. Hambric School for 2 years. In 8th grade a new middle school closer to my house opened up so i went there instead. I still kept in touch with my friends as we were only 10 minutes apart. At these two middle schools i met some amazing people who will come into play later on.
Fast forward to freshman year of high school. On my first day of high school, my father was out of town so my grandma and sister dropped me off. I walked in the door with my schedule, wearing the cutest outfit i could find. I was a bit early so I went to the bathroom to make sure I looked okay before entering the halls of my new home for the next 4 years. I went to the El Dorado Freshman Academy with close to 1,000 other people. That's over 1,000 freshmen in one place, which I think is crazy. So I walked into my 1st period of the day and was happy to see familiar faces, not that I talked to them, but they were familiar. I found my seat in the front of the classroom next to one of the cutest boys I had ever seen, Nick. We soon became acquainted and he was super nice. I knew at least one person in each of my classes and met a few more people who have made a huge impact on my life. It was a fun day, but I couldn't wait for 8th period, cheer. I didn't have many friends on the squad yet, but I was excited. In cheer we did team building exercises to get to know each other a little better and take it easy for the first day. Day 1 of my high school career was a success.
After a few weeks I started getting close to a girl named Chassidy. We had talked a little bit over the summer after meeting in cheer and she was in my Biomedical Science class. We were very similar and I felt that i could trust her. She's very outgoing ad crazy so of course i liked her. Then there was Joel and Sebastian. I had them for Algebra and they sat in front of me so I helped them out a lot (I gave them the answers). We all clicked instantly and I had a blast with all of them. Tori and I soon became close. Tori and I met at cheer leading tryouts and we talked every now and then, but a few months into the school year we became pretty good friends. Me, Tori, and Chassidy were like the 3 amigos. We did everything together an I trusted them with my life. I never really had a real relationship my freshman year. It was a pretty uneventful year. I spent it with old friends from middle school and didn't really branch out and meet new people. I "talked" to a few guys but nothing really serious. As the school year came to a close, me, Tori, and Chass were inseparable. I started developing feelings for my ex- boyfriend Justin.
(Justin was the perfect guy. Tall, handsome, quarterback, sweet. Just everything you a girl could want in a guy. We met in 8th grade and soon after we met we "dated." I was a basic middle school relationship and he broke up with me after about a month. I never knew why so when he tried to get back together I was really bitter and I refused to get back together, even though I clearly still liked him. I dated 2 of his friends which he did not like at all, but he still tried and he fought hard for me, which I took for granted. He got a girlfriend at the end of 8th grade and we were friends again. Freshman year we got really close as friends and sometimes we would have these talks about us. Like where we would be if we hadn't broken up, but he still had his girlfriend so nothing happened.)
I told how I felt about him, but nothing really happened. After a few weeks, I just gave up and decided it was best to move on. That's when Roberto entered my life...
