You never wanted to go to a public school- and definitely not after last year's events. And you didn't want to go more than anything with Luciel. Yes, you loved Luciel like a brother. But Lets be honest, all he would do is tease you and make fun of you and be rude. You know he means well, but he just isn't the type of person who can get that- he is like the top of the food chain in school. Nobody taught him any better. And that's that.
And you never blamed him for it. In fact, you blamed whoever raised him. Luciel was adopted and his mother tries her best to help it, yes- he has improved but he hasn't stopped.. completely- but honestly under all that tough surface he actually tries to hold back and has good intentions. Your the only one that really knew.
So- back to why you have to quit home schooling. Your mother is a social worker in Japan. So that means traveling around. Alot. She took off last year to home school you- but now that she is back she has alot of work to cover. And now that she is gone she can't home school.
Tommorow would be the first day of school. Seeing as you need to get up at 7:00 in the morning you best get some sleep. Or atleast that's what you thought until you heard a knock on your front door. You swiftly stand up startled. And slowly make your way to the door- the knocking gets louder. But you had an idea of who it was.
You lightly pull open the long black handle and there appeared a red head ever so familiar to you- Luciel.
"Luciel- it's so late, what are you doing knocking on my door this hour?" You ask obviously annoyed at the handsome yet mischievous childhood friend. You waited patiently for the answer but it never came. Instead he strolled right in as calm as ever. You just stared at him in disbelief as he makes his way to your kitchen
"Just seeing what's up before the big day? jezz- don't make such a big deal out of it." He answered still waking to the kitchen stationed in the corner of the room. You blushed in embarrassment.
"Sorry, anyway what are you doing? I didn't expect you to just walk in like it's some kind of window shop." You say with a hint of sass in your voice as you follow him to his destination. What was he doing? Just walking in like that.
"Just getting a water. a welcome would've been nice, baka" he turns to you finally answering your question. "Where is the fridge?" He asks looking at me. But I just choose to ignore him. And sit on the couch with the remote, I felt the atmosphere rise as he started to get annoyed.
"Baka.." He says before I feel a light pressure on my left shoulder blade. A tangled up napkin bounced off my shoulder where he aimed into my hand. A vein popped in my forehead as a quickly turn around and sigh shooting daggers at him.
"Behind you, Luciel" I frown. And am amazed that he completely passed it. He turns around to find that the fridge that he has been trying to find was behind him the whole time. He looks back at you dumbfounded.
You giggle, how could you be mad at those eyes. It so cute how he didn't even notice the big freezing black behind him. "Luciel, go home. Your going to have no sleep tommorow if you dont" you giggle again as he still is blushing at his previous actions.
He turns " I'm leaving.." He says still blushing. And there he went. The last thung he said before heading out the door. "Baka."
"Takes one to know one," you mumble under your breath. But what can you say. Teenage boys are teenage boys. Heh, what a silly friend you have. You should get some sleep before the first day.
